Description

基于区域的访问允许
本发明涉及根据区域和使用规则允许在一个介质上显示内容。更具体地,根据使用规则,允许源内容被显示在一个屏幕上,例如,如果在源内容和显示设备中检测到相同的区域代码。
通常,可以不受限制地观看电视广播。广播内容可以是来自电视的数据,例如ATSC(美国电视标准委员会)电视广播流,无线电,卫星,或互联网例如网页,网络广播,走陆地,或卫星传播的DVB(数字视频广播)。为了增加收入,广播公司迫切希望能够控制观众收看节目的时间和地点。因此,就需要控制能够收看广播内容的时间和地点。
根据本发明,一种用于接收内容的装置,包括一个存储器,其中存储有描述符;以及一个处理器,用于读出描述符和嵌入在该内容中的源代码。该处理器对描述符和源代码进行比较,并且当描述符实质上等同于源代码时和/或根据嵌入在访问内容中的使用规则,允许对内容进行访问,例如在屏幕上显示。该描述符表示装置可以被使用的区域,而源代码表示内容广播的区域。另外,或作为选择,该描述符可以表示装置能够使用的时区,而源代码包括内容广播的时区。当嵌入在时区中的内容与包括在装置中的时区不匹配时,该装置就不允许对该内容进行访问。

Claims (14)

1.一种用于接收内容(14)的装置(10),包括:
存储器(12),其被设置为存储描述符;以及
处理器(18),其被设置为读出所述描述符和嵌入在所述内容(14)中的源代码;
其中当所述描述符实质上等同于所述源代码时,所述处理器(18)还进一步被设置为允许访问所述内容(14);
其特征在于,进一步将使用规则嵌入到所述内容(14)中;所述处理器(18)被进一步设置为当允许访问所述内容(14)时,读出所述使用规则并根据所述使用规则确定对所述内容(14)的访问方式。
2.根据权利要求1的装置(10),其中当所述描述符实质上等同于所述源代码时,所述处理器(18)还进一步被设置为允许所述内容(14)的视频信号被显示在屏幕(20)上和允许所述内容的音频信号能听到从扬声器上播放的至少其中之一。

当允许访问所述内容(14)时,
读出嵌入在所述内容(14)中的使用规则;以及
根据所述使用规则确定对所述内容(14)的访问方式。
9.根据权利要求8的方法,其中当所述描述符实质上等同于所述源代码时,所述允许动作允许所述内容(14)的视频信号被显示在屏幕(20)上和允许所述内容的音频信号能听到从扬声器上播放的至少其中之一。
