Abstract

La invención se refiere a un método para la descarbonización multietapa del proceso de amoníaco, el método comprende absorber, usando amoníaco como absorbente, CO2 de un gas de proceso en un absorbente que incluye cuatro o más etapas de absorción, las cuatro o más etapas incluyen, dispuestas secuencialmente a lo largo de la dirección del flujo del gas de proceso, una primera etapa de absorción; una segunda etapa de absorción; una tercera etapa de absorción; una cuarta etapa de absorción; y una etapa de absorción superior opcional; y controlar: que la temperatura del gas de proceso en las absorciones de la segunda y tercera etapa no sea inferior a la temperatura del gas de proceso en la absorción de la primera etapa; y que la temperatura del gas de proceso en las absorciones de la cuarta y la etapa superior opcional sea menor que la temperatura del gas de proceso en la absorción de la primera etapa.
