Abstract
La presente invención proporciona un método y sistema para la mitigación de material particulado, fuego y/o gases contaminantes en un espacio a tratar, en donde el método comprende los pasos de: hacer ingresar un líquido a temperatura criogénica al interior de un contenedor (2) que contiene a un fluido catalizador (3), para generar un vapor de alta densidad mediante el contacto del líquido a temperatura criogénica con el fluido catalizador (3); y alimentar el vapor de alta densidad a dicho espacio a tratar para producir la mitigación del material particulado, fuego y/o gases contaminantes, mediante medios de alimentación (5) conectados operativamente con una salida (22) de vapor de alta densidad del contenedor (2); en donde dicha temperatura criogénica es menor que -150°C; y en donde el método comprende mantener el fluido catalizador (3) a una temperatura de entre 0°C y 100°C con anterioridad a su contacto con el líquido a temperatura criogénica mediante medios de control de temperatura (4) adecuados.The present invention provides a method and system for the mitigation of particulate matter, fire and/or polluting gases in a space to be treated, where the method comprises the steps of: introducing a liquid at cryogenic temperature into the interior of a container (2 ) that contains a catalyst fluid (3), to generate a high-density vapor through contact of the liquid at cryogenic temperature with the catalyst fluid (3); and feeding the high-density steam to said space to be treated to produce the mitigation of particulate matter, fire and/or polluting gases, through feeding means (5) operatively connected to a high-density steam outlet (22) of the container ( 2); wherein said cryogenic temperature is less than -150°C; and wherein the method comprises maintaining the catalyst fluid (3) at a temperature of between 0°C and 100°C prior to its contact with the liquid at cryogenic temperature by means of suitable temperature control means (4).
