Abstract

La invención corresponde a un biofiltro y método de oxidación de metano generado en procesos industriales, agrícolas, rellenos sanitarios, entre otros, donde la oxidación de metano es biológica, requiriendo de consorcios microbianos metanotróficos y donde se adiciona relave de la minería del cobre para estimular la oxidación de metano mediada por dichos microorganismos metanotróficos.
