Abstract
Se proporciona un método de decodificación. El método incluye recibir, por el decodificador de video, un flujo de bits de video que incluye un conjunto de parámetros de video (VPS) y una pluralidad de capas, donde ninguna capa es una capa de salida de al menos un OLS ni una capa de referencia directa de cualquier otra capa; y decodificar, por el decodificador de video, una imagen de una de la pluralidad de capas. El método incluye generar, por el codificador de video, una pluralidad de capas y un VPS que especifica uno o más conjuntos de capas de salida (OLS), donde ninguna capa es una capa de salida de al menos un OLS ni una capa de referencia directa de cualquier otra capa; codificar, por el codificador de video, la pluralidad de capas y el VPS en un flujo de bits de video; y almacenar, por el codificador de video, el flujo de bits de video para comunicación hacia un decodificador de video.
