Abstract
La presente invención provee enzimas cetorreductasa modificadas que tienen propiedades mejoradas en comparación con una enzima cetorreductasa salvaje de origen natural, así como polinucleótidos que codifican las enzimas cetorreductasa modificadas, células huésped capaces de expresar las enzimas cetorreductasa modificadas y métodos para usar las enzimas cetorreductasa modificadas para sintetizar un alcohol quiral. La presente invención también provee métodos para usar las enzimas modificadas.
