Abstract
Un sistema y un método para la inspección de mallas de cultivo en jaulas de acuicultura, que permite una monitorización en tiempo real del estado de las mallas de cultivo en su interior, en cuanto a roturas y anomalías, y una caracterización del nivel de suciedad. El sistema comprende: un dispositivo de detección móvil que es operable en forma remota y que comprende medios de captación de imágenes y medios de emisión de señales de ultrasonido omnidireccional; una pluralidad de medios receptores de señales de ultrasonido localizados en forma fija en distintas ubicaciones de una jaula; un sistema de procesamiento que está configurado para determinar la posición del dispositivo de detección móvil dentro de la jaula mediante el procesamiento de las señales de ultrasonido e identificar el estado de una malla de la jaula; y una interfaz de usuario configurada para generar visualizaciones automáticas en un entorno tridimensional de la ubicación del dispositivo de detección móvil y del estado de la malla.
