Abstract
Se provee un aparato para la producción de biomasa o un bioproducto, dicho aparato comprende: al menos un biorreactor alargado, el biorreactor compuesto por al menos una capa de membrana externa que define un compartimiento sustancialmente tubular que es capaz de ser llenado con un líquido o gel, donde la capa de membrana consta de un material que es permeable a la transferencia de gas a través de la capa de membrana. Se proporciona una cámara con paredes que definen y encierran una atmósfera gaseosa en su interior. Además, al menos una parte del biorreactor se encuentra dentro de la cámara. Un sistema de control controla la composición de la atmósfera dentro de la cámara y la transferencia de gas se produce a través de la capa de membrana del biorreactor entre el compartimento tubular y la atmósfera comprendida dentro de la cámara. Asimismo, se proporcionan métodos de uso del aparato para la fabricación de biomasa.
