Abstract

En el presente documento se describen sistemas y métodos para secuestrar el dióxido de carbono en el hormigón. Los métodos incluyen la combinación de agua y un agente espumante para formar una mezcla de agente espumante, la adición de un gas que comprende dióxido de carbono a la mezcla de agente espumante en una primera cámara de mezclado, la mezcla del agua, el gas que comprende dióxido de carbono y el agente espumante para formar una mezcla de espuma en la primera cámara de mezclado, la mezcla de espuma que comprende una pluralidad de burbujas de espuma que contienen al menos una parte del dióxido de carbono, la combinación de la mezcla de espuma con los materiales de hormigón en una segunda cámara de mezclado, de modo que la mezcla de espuma entre en contacto con los materiales de hormigón, que comprenden cemento, y la mezcla de la mezcla de espuma y los materiales de hormigón en la segunda cámara de mezclado para formar el hormigón con el dióxido de carbono secuestrado en él.
