Abstract
La invención proporciona una solución para la detección mejorada de cualquier cilindro de GLP (gas licuado del petróleo) con fugas en su debido tiempo, mientras que la capacidad de detección de fugas también puede mejorarse en comparación con los sistemas conocidos. Se divulga un detector de fugas de gas 102 para detectar una fuga de gas de una unidad de válvula 111 del cilindro de gas 104 y/o una fuga de gas entre la unidad de válvula del cilindro de gas y el cilindro de gas y/o una fuga de gas a través de una pared o una soldadura del cilindro de gas. El detector de fugas de gas tiene una carcasa 106a, 106b que se puede mover en relación con una superficie externa 107, 109. Este movimiento permite, al menos en parte, rodear una unidad de válvula del cilindro de gas 111. El detector de fugas de gas 102 tiene además un generador de flujo de aire 160, tal como un solo ventilador, para proporcionar y mover una mezcla de aire y cualquier fuga de gas dentro de un espacio sustancialmente cerrado en la carcasa y para mejorar la detección de una fuga de gas.
