Abstract
Un método para producir un artículo metálico mixto y/o un componente de desgaste metálico mixto. El método incluye las siguientes etapas: moldear un componente compuesto por una composición metálica hospedadora donde una o más cavidades se forman en el componente durante el moldeado; insertar una composición resistente al desgaste en forma sólida en la o las cavidades formadas en el componente compuesto por la composición metálica hospedadora; y adherir la composición resistente al desgaste a la o las cavidades del componente compuesto por la composición metálica hospedadora para formar el artículo metálico mixto.
