Abstract
<p>SE DESCRIBE UN PROCESO DE OSMOSIS DIRECTA ARA LA CONCENTRACIÓN DE SOLUCIONES DE SAL QUE CONTIENEN LITIO. UNA DIFERENCIA DE PRESIÓN OSMÓTICA ENTRE UNA SOLUCIÓN DE SAL QUE CONTIENE LITIO Y UNA SEGUNDA SOLUCIÓN DE SAL DE MAYOR PRESIÓN OSMÓTICA SE UTILIZA COMO FUERZA MOTRIZ PARA PASAR AGUA A TRAVÉS DE UNA MEMBRANA DE OSMOSIS DIRECTA SEMI-PERMEABLE DE DICHA SOLUCIÓN DE SAL QUE CONTIENE LITIO DE MENOR PRESIÓN OSMÓTICA HACIA LA SOLUCIÓN DE SAL DE MAYOR PRESIÓN OSMÓTICA. ADEMÁS, SE DESCRIBE UNA OPERACIÓN DE DOS PARTES EN LA QUE LA TECNOLOGÍA DE PROCESO DE OSMOSIS INVERSA Y LA TECNOLOGÍA DE PROCESO DE OSMOSIS DIRECTA SE UTILIZAN EN TÁNDEM PARA CONCENTRAR SOLUCIONES DE SAL QUE CONTIENEN LITIO Y RECUPERAR EL AGUA QUE PUEDE SER RECICLADA AL PROCESO.
