  Verfahren zur Herstellung radioaktiver plastischer Massen.    Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur  Herstellung radioaktiver plastischer Massen  aus Kunststoffen, zum Beispiel     Zelhiloid,          Zellon    und andern plastischen Massen, und  beruht darauf, dass man diesen Massen, am  besten während sie sich noch im Fabrikations  stadium befinden; radioaktive Substanzen zu  setzt und     innigst    mit ihnen vermischt. Man  kann die Massen dann     formen    und zum Bei  spiel Platten, Rohre, Stäbe usw. von verschie  dener Stärke anfertigen.  



  Das Mengenverhältnis der radioaktiven  Stoffe zu den genannten plastischen Massen  kann den Zwecken, denen die Masse dienen  soll, entsprechend     bestimmt    werden. Man  kann sie für biologische, chemische, technische  oder therapeutische Zwecke verwenden. Für  letztere Zwecke kann man sie entsprechend  den Körperteilen, wo sie angewandt werden  sollen, formen. Dies kann von     Patienten     selbst geschehen. Die     Formstücke    sind als  Kompressen anzuwenden und anzusehen.    Sämtliche Teilchen der radioaktiven Stoffe  sind von Zelluloid,     Zellon    usw. umhüllt, ohne  in ihrer Wirkung gehindert zu werden.

   Man  kann daher die radioaktiven Formstücke  nach erfolgter Anwendung auch leicht reini  gen, ohne hierbei Verluste an radioaktiven  Stoffen zu haben.  



  Man kann so die Ausstrahlung einer ge  zvünschten bestimmten     Emmannationsmenge     pro     Quadratmillimeter    Fläche erreichen.
