Description
Device for the formation of water vapors intended to be mixed with the fuel supplying an internal combustion engine. The present invention relates to a device for the formation of water vapors intended to be mixed with the fuel supplying an internal combustion engine.
The accompanying drawing gives, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the present invention assumed to be suitable for a. combustion engine.
Fig. 1 is a schematic view of the entire device; Fig. 2 is a view of a detail, shown in section and on an enlarged scale.
The internal combustion engine 1 represented by tiellement, actuates by known means a small air compressor 2. The compressed air is led into a sealed tank 3 containing water, through line 4. The tank see sealed 3 capable of being filled with water through the orifice closed by the stopper 5, carries a dome 6 comprising an adjustable valve. From the dome 6 leaves a pipe 7 leading to a pressure gauge 8 which controls the pressure in the reservoir 3. Into the sealed reservoir 3 there is a pipe 9 intended to bring the pressurized water contained in said reservoir to the nozzle 10 of the vaporizer 11.
From the dome 6 of the sealed tank 3 also leaves a pipe 12 bringing the pressurized air to the adjustment needle 13 of the sprayer 11.
The vaporizer 1.1 has the effect of injecting the water sprayed by the reservoir 3 into a coil placed in the chamber 14 disposed in the exhaust pipe 15 of the explosion engine. The water sprayed by the vaporizer 11 is heated in the coil placed in the chamber 14 by means of the hot gases from the exhaust and is transformed into vapors led by the pipe 16 in the inlet pipe 17 of the fuel supplying the internal combustion engine 1, fuel which, in this case, is carburized air. The water vapor produced by this device is mixed with the fuel supplying the engine.
