Description
Thread tensioner for sewing machines. The invention relates to a Fa denspanner with a pair of tensioning disks for sewing machines and consists in the fact that the two tensioning disks, one of which is fixed, the other is movable, are each provided with a tubular extension and the approach of one in the approach of the other is stuck, the two tension disks .be held against each other by an adjustable tension spring located in one shoulder.
In the drawing, an execution example of the subject invention is Darge provides.
1 is a front view and FIG. 2 is a side view of the machine head of a sewing machine equipped with the same, with a partial section along line 2-2 of FIG. 1; Figures 3 and 4 show details.
The head 1 of a sewing machine is of any type and contains the needle bar 2 and the fabric presser 3, which has a nose 4 and a spring 5. The presser lever 6 is rotatable about a pin 7 and acts through its cam-like head on the nose 4 of the presser to raise and lower the sen.
With: the cover plate 8 of the head is a stirrer-shaped approach 9 of a clamping disc 10 of the thread tensioner in connection. This tension disk is the fixed disk. The second, movable disc 11 has an inwardly directed tubular extension 12 with a bottom 13, which is plugged into the tubular extension 9, and an outwardly directed tubular extension 14 with a longitudinal slot 15 on the open side. In the lugs 12 and 14 there is a tension spring 16 which rests on the floor 13 and is compressed by a nut 17.
The courage ter 17 sits on a threaded part 18 of a pin 19, .der is attached to the cover plate 8 and protrudes through a hole in the bottom 13 to the outside. Between the nut 17 and the spring 16, a washer 20 is placed. The nut 17 has a pin 21 which engages in the slot 15, so that the washer 11 must rotate when the nut is adjusted to regulate the tension of the spring 16. The fixed disk 10 has a scale 22 (FIG. 3), the movable disk 11 has a pointer 23 which indicates on the scale the tension to which the thread is subjected. .
The pin 19 has a longitudinal slot 24 and a longitudinal bore 25. In this a pin 26 is attached, which has a transverse piece 27 located in the slot 24. The pin 26 ar processed with a cam 28 (Fig. 4) of the presser lever 6 together. When the presser lever is rotated to lift the presser and release the work piece, the cam 28 acts on the pin 26 and urges this against the pressure of the spring 16 to the outside, whereby the discs 11 and 10 are pushed apart.
The disc 11 is lifted from the disc 10 and the tension of the thread is released.
