Wird die Trommel 2 mit ihrem Rahmen 1 aus der Wenderlage in die Re chenlage um den Zapfen 4 hernmgeschwenkt, so vergrössert sieh die Entfernung der Zap- fen 20 von der #se 10 ;
Haymaking machine with variable working position of the tine drum.
The subject of the present invention is a haying machine with variable working position of the tine drum. in one working position for turning hay and in the other working position for swathing. The essence of the invention consists in the fact that the height of the drum is automatically changed during the transition from one working position to the other. The different heights of the tine drum for the two purposes is necessary in order to adapt the tines, which are inclined in one case and perpendicular in the other case, to the ground.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, namely FIG. 1 shows the same from above; Fig. 2 and 3 show side views of the same in two different Ar beitslagen; FIG. 4 shows a cross section of FIG. 2.
As an illustrated embodiment, a machine is the sicb. known type chosen in which the mounted in a frame 1 tine drum 2 with tines 3 for the Wendea beit parallel to the axis of the Fahrr # is mounted and for the purpose of
Sohwadenhecnsumeinside studs
4 is swiveled in very # glage. Latter
The position is shown in dash-dotted lines on the drawing. A tilting shaft 6 is mounted on the main frame 5 of the Masehine.
An arm 7 of this tilting shaft is connected by a rod 8 to a lever arm 9, the pivot pin of which is located above and in an extension of the pivot pin 4 of the tine drum. In an eyelet 10 of the lever arm 9, the pull rod 11 engages, the rear end of which is connected to the lower arm of an angle lever 13. This angle lever 12 is rotatably mounted on the frame 1 of the tine drum, as is another lever, 13, at the other end of the tine drum.
The frame 1 of the tine drum is guided by bushes 28 on the axes 17 of the support rollers 18. Angle lever 19 and rebel 13 are connected to one another by means of a continuous square rod 14. The second arm of the angle lever 12 and correspondingly at the other end of the drum the free end of the
Lever 13 is connected to supports 15 by means of pegs 20, which, with the aid of sleeves 16, sit on adjusting rings 19 of axles 17 of support rollers 18.
If the drum 2 with its frame 1 is swiveled around the pin 4 from the turning position into the computing position, the distance between the pin 20 and the #se 10 is increased;
As a result, the rod 11 pivots the angled lever 12 from the position shown in FIG. 2 2 into that of FIG. 3, with the lever 13 also moving upwards through the intermediary of the square rod 14 and thereby the at the
Levers 12 and 13 hanging drum frame 1 is raised, by so much that the prongs of the drum, which at the first
Position (Fig. 2) at an angle touching the floor. have space in a vertical position down to the floor.
At the right end of the tilting shaft 6, a hand lever 21 is attached, which means the
Pawl 22 in notches of a stable segment
23 is established. By having this
Hand lever 21 is created along the rear notches 2t @, a readjustment of the height of the tine drum can be effected by tilting the shaft 6 nm by pivoting the hand lever 21 and thereby by means of the linkage 7, 8 , 9, 11, 12, 13 the
Drum is raised or lowered slightly.
In addition to the notches 24, there is also a notch at the front of the segment 23
25 @ into which the handle of the
Hand lever 21 can intervene after fully pivoting the same. Is the hand lever 21, which can be operated from the driver's seat 26. transferred into this notch 25, so the drum is, even without changing the pivot positions. raised by a considerable amount, as indicated by dotted lines in FIG. 3. This handling is possible both in the turning position and in the computing position of the drum.
It is important for turning the machine over, as the draft animals require a lot of effort and the gears and tines of the machine are heavily stressed if the tines are close to the ground when turning. The driver can thus temporarily lift the drum off the ground during the turning by setting the hand lever into the notch 25 and, after turning it over, lower it again with the prongs on the ground by setting it into a corresponding notch 24.
In order to facilitate the lifting of the drum both automatically and manually, tension springs 27 are provided, which between the frame of the drum and the levers 12bezw. 13 are switched on.
When the drum is lowered, these springs tighten and when it is raised; balance part of the weight. At the same time, the springs produce an elastic adaptation to the ground.
