The subject of the present invention is a novel belt door. While slide-in strips, head strips, fittings and the like have previously been used to adjust and hold the belts together, making the production of the door tedious and time-consuming, the new door can be mechanically and therefore in considerably less time, and without special expertise put together.
With the new door, the belts are passed through two tubes running across all belts, e.g. B. gas pipes interconnected.
The subject matter of the present invention is explained in more detail on the drawing in an exemplary embodiment.
Fig. 1 is a front view of the door, Fig. 2 is a vertical section; 3 and 4 are cross-sections through two different embodiments of the door; Fig. 5 is a cross section through a Schar nier on a larger scale, and Fig. 6 is a side view of the same. The door has belts a, which lie next to each other in the longitudinal direction and are connected to each other by tongue and groove b of any Ausfüh tion (see, for example, Fig. 3 and 4).
To stiffen the door and to bind the belts a to each other, two tubes c, for example gas tubes, which are located in a bore of all belts a. A tube d is also used as a so-called bow, which lies at an angle to the upper tube c in holes in the belt. This tube d is driven into the bores of the belt a by means of a wooden plug e when the door is manufactured until it rests against the upper tube e. The wood plug e is provided with glue before it is driven in, so that it then forms a tight and firm seal for the hole receiving the pipe d. The plug e is flush with the door edge.
Two T-pipe sections f and g serve as the hinge, one of which is screwed onto or into the pipe c, which is provided with a thread at the end for this purpose. The other, which is used to receive the block la, is embedded with its central part in the door frame i and held by two screws ben 1c, which cross (Fig. 5). Instead of this latter T-piece g @ a hinge of another shape could also be used.
The tubes c are bored through near their ends and connected to the two outer belts by connecting means, for example nails, screws, which go through the bores of the tubes c, whereby swelling and shrinking of the belts are not noticeable disadvantageously . The inner belts are connected to the tubes approximately in the middle by pins or the like, so that any shrinkage to the right and left is evenly distributed and consequently does not have an unfavorable effect, as the springs do not come out of their grooves. Warping or throwing the door is therefore completely ruled out.
