Rasoir de sûreté à manche transversal. L'objet de la présente invention est un- ra soir de sûreté à manche transversal et à cou vercle muni d'un ressort de pression pour maintenir la lame.
Suivant l'invention, .le rasoir possède un dispositif formé d'une plaque présentant deux pattes disposées de manière à pouvoir rentrer dans une rainure de la lame également utili sable avec une monture de rasoir du type à manche longitudinal, l'une des pattes recou vrant la lame à une extrémité, et l'autre tra versant sans jeu la rainure, en vue de tenir ladite lame en position correcte par rapport au protecteur usuel et par rapport au couvercle.
Le dessin ci-joint représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de la présente invention.

En se reportant à la fig. 1, 6 désigne le rasoir du type à manche transversal. Pour pouvoir être utilisé avec les deux types de ra soir (à manche transversal et longitudinal) on a prévu une lame 7 ayant deux tranchants 8 et une rainure allongée 9. Cette lame a les dimensions convenables pour pouvoir être adaptée aux deux types de rasoirs.
Le rasoir du type à manche transversal (fig. 1) comprend le protecteur usuel 19 et un couvercle 20 qui, lorsqu'il est rabattu, main tient la lame en place, lequel couvercle est maintenu dans la position rabattue (fig. 1) par un ressort non montré au dessin. La lame est disposée au-dessus du protecteur 19 et son bord avant bute contre les saillies 21 du pro tecteur; les bords latéraux de la lame pas sent sous des parties saillantes 22 du protec teur. Le couvercle 20 est muni d'un ressort 23 dont le but est indiqué ci-après.
Le dispositif qui maintient la lame 7 en position correcte par rapport au protecteur et au couvercle est représenté aux fig. 2, 3, 4 et 5; il est formé d'une plaque 10 en tôle munie des deux pattes 11 et 12; la patte 11 recouvre la lame à une extrémité de sa rainure 9, et la patte 12 traverse sans jeu la rainure 9. De cette manière la. position exacte de la lame est assurée, et elle est temporairement fixée dans cette position sur la, plaque 10, qui est munie d'un rebord 18, lequel a pour but de protéger le tranchant de la lame qui n'est pas utilisée contre l'endommagement par le ressort 23.
La lame et la plaque 10 sont disposées dans le rasoir de la manière montrée aux fig. 2 et 5, le bord avant de la lame butant contre les saillies 21 et les bords latéraux passant sous les parties saillantes 22. La lame 7 présente une faible inclinaison par rapport au protec teur 19 de façon que le tranchant avant 8 'af fecte une position correcte par rapport au pro tecteur. Lorsque le couvercle 20 est rabattu, le ressort 23 vient en contact le rebord 13 de la plaque 10 et presse la lame et la plaque 10 en avant, pendant que le tranchant arrière 8 protégé contre l'endommagement par ledit ressort.

Referring to fig. 1, 6 denotes the razor of the transverse handle type. To be able to be used with the two types of evening rafter (with transverse and longitudinal handle) a blade 7 has been provided having two cutting edges 8 and an elongated groove 9. This blade has the suitable dimensions to be able to be adapted to the two types of razors.
The transverse handle type razor (Fig. 1) comprises the usual protector 19 and a cover 20 which, when folded down, hand holds the blade in place, which cover is held in the folded position (Fig. 1) by a spring not shown in the drawing. The blade is disposed above the protector 19 and its front edge abuts against the projections 21 of the protector; the lateral edges of the blade are not felt under the protrusions 22 of the protector. The cover 20 is provided with a spring 23, the purpose of which is indicated below.
The device which maintains the blade 7 in the correct position with respect to the protector and to the cover is shown in fig. 2, 3, 4 and 5; it is formed from a sheet metal plate 10 provided with two tabs 11 and 12; the tab 11 covers the blade at one end of its groove 9, and the tab 12 passes through the groove 9 without play. In this way. exact position of the blade is ensured, and it is temporarily fixed in this position on the plate 10, which is provided with a flange 18, which is intended to protect the cutting edge of the blade which is not in use against the 'damage by spring 23.
The blade and the plate 10 are arranged in the razor in the manner shown in Figs. 2 and 5, the front edge of the blade abutting against the protrusions 21 and the side edges passing under the protrusions 22. The blade 7 has a slight inclination with respect to the protector 19 so that the front cutting edge 8 'affects a correct position in relation to the protector. When the cover 20 is folded down, the spring 23 comes into contact with the flange 13 of the plate 10 and presses the blade and the plate 10 forward, while the rear cutting edge 8 is protected against damage by said spring.
