Le dessin ci-annexé représente, â titre d'exemple, plusieurs formes d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention La fig. 1 montre, en vue de face, partie en coupe, un fragment d'une première forme d'exécution; La fig. 2 montre, en élévation, une des lames de celle-ci; La fig. 3 montre, en plan, un flan par repliage duquel ladite lame est obtenue en même temps que son oeillet de fixation; La fig. 4 montre, en perspective cavalière, un tronçon d'un profilé par simple découpage duquel on peut obtenir des flans tels que ce lui de la fig. 3;
Collector for electrical machines. The object of the invention is a collector for electrical machines formed by a crown of wedge-shaped blades with fixing means for securing the electric wires thereto, these fixing means being constituted by #illets established in one piece with the blades and arranged to receive the electric wires.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, several embodiments of the object of the invention. FIG. 1 shows, in front view, partly in section, a fragment of a first embodiment; Fig. 2 shows, in elevation, one of the blades thereof; Fig. 3 shows, in plan, a blank by folding which said blade is obtained at the same time as its fixing eyelet; Fig. 4 shows, in perspective, a section of a profile by simple cutting which can be obtained blanks such as that of FIG. 3;
Fig. 5 shows, half-part in axial section, half-part in elevation, the assembly of another embodiment of the collector; Fig. 6 is a partial front view; Figs. 7 and 8 finally show, respectively in front view and in side view, one of the blades of this collector.
As seen in Figs. 1 and 2, the collector is formed by a ring of blades obtained by means of a metal blank as shown in FIG. 3, folded back on itself so as to form, on the one hand, two tabs a ° joining in the radial plane a 'and on the other hand, an eyelet a for fixing the electric wires c. The whole of the pair of adjoining legs a4 has a wedge-shaped section, the taper angle being indicated by R in fig. 1, and the adjacent blades are isolated from each other by insulating sheets b.
The juxtaposition of the folded parts of the blank is ensured by rivets d ensuring at the same time the maintenance of the eyelet a. The eyelet a is at the end moth free of a relatively wide radial portion, forming a ventilation fin.
To establish a collector strip of this kind, one proceeds for example as follows: One takes a copper profile such as, as shown in fig. 4, with a flat lower face a1, and having, at a4, with respect to its middle part a2, an extra thickness a3 having its own upper face inclined so that the angle a, that the latter upper face forms with the part corresponding of said lower face a ', is substantially equal to half of the angle (3 which must form between them the two external faces of the collector plate,
the whole so that said section is symmetrical with respect to the plane which can be driven, perpendicularly to its lower face a ', by the longitudinal axis a of this face.
A blank is then cut from the profile thus established so that, as shown in FIG. 3, it comprises on the one hand, two identical side portions or legs having the same length as that to be given to the blades and each forming a dovetail, and, on the other hand, a transverse portion forming in a way a bridge between said side legs.
Each element thus formed is folded around said longitudinal axis a so as to apply the tabs a4 to one another and to form an eyelet at a for fixing the son c. This fixing can take place, for example, by tightening the # eyelet with a flat pliers so as to force the wires c to be crushed between the branches of the eyelet, and it can be ensured using 'A key rivet invariably bringing together said branches, and advantageously one can achieve an intimate junction of the son by welding in the eyelets.
The collector blades united in a crown are insulated from each other by means of intermediate sheets b of insulating material. However, this insulation could also be carried out in another way, as indicated for example in FIGS. 5 and 6, by inserting the crown of suitably spaced blades into a mold and pouring therein a solidifiable fluid insulating mass, such as bakelite, so as to fill the gaps between the blades and to provide a a sort of circular bowl in insulating material shown in fig. 5 and 6, with usefully perforated walls to allow ventilation, and such that it does not leave visible, on the external face of its bottom,
.that those of the edges of the blades which are arranged on the side of the brushes to be added to said collector, as well as the corresponding ends of the eyelets a, which open into the conduits e made, in the extension of the said eyelets, in the side wall e 'of the bowl, said mold being such that it allows to adhere, concentrically to the axis of the bowl, a tube f suitable for being mounted on the axis of the armature of the electric machine, and the hoops of reinforcement g and h.
The collector blades are thus well fixed in the insulating block constituted by the cup e and their eyelets a are housed inside the latter, as are the fixing portions of the electric wires, so as not to not run the risk of being detached under the effect of centrifugal force.
As for the bowl e, this one; in addition to protecting the eyelets also has, on the opposite side, slices such that they can wrap the end of the armature located on the collector side.
The collector blades a and the eyelets for fixing the electrical wires here have another form. The former are formed from a unitary block of metal and the eyelets are obtained by bending and rolling the end part of a tongue integral with the blades.
