Elektrischer zeitstronischliesser.
11 in Berührung gelangen.
Electric timestronic closer. The present invention relates to an elec .. tric time current closer of the type in which the activity of the Mtstrom- sehliessers is conducted by an electromagnet and heat developed by an electric current in a heater causes the expansion of a body, wel che expansion and subsequent contraction Closing and interruption of an electrical circuit conditional.
According to the present invention, a short circuit is caused for the coils of the electromagnet, whereby the electromagnet lets go of its armature, interrupts the current passing through the heater and thereby initiates the interruption of the activity of the timer.
Fig. 1 and 2 in the drawing show schematically two different exemplary embodiments for the invention, seen from the front and applied as a stair automaton.
In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1, 1 is a terminal board with connection terminals 2, 3 an electric incandescent lamp, by means of which a rail made in a known manner from two pieces can be heated.
The rail 4 carries two Pla tin contacts 5 and 6, of which the latter is arranged on a leaf spring 7 attached to the rail. 8 is an electromagnet arranged on the terminal board 1, 9 the armature of the same, which, like the rail 4, carries two contacts 10 and 11 made of Pla tin or some other suitable material. 12 and 13 are two fixed contacts, which by tightening the armature 9 on the part of the electromagnet with the contacts 10, respectively. 11 come into contact.
14 and 15 are the positive and negative leads, 16 the lamps and 17 the pushbuttons, which organs are connected to one another and to the connecting terminals 2 in the manner shown in the figure. 18 is an electromagnetic armature 9, and 19 is an angular bracket carrying the rail 4.
The apparatus works in the following way: When one of the pushbuttons 17 is pressed, the power source (not shown) creates a circuit through the lines 14 and 14. 20, the lamps 16, the push button 17, the cable, 21, which with the same -, - c # rbundc-nc # @liischliisslzlemme 2, the cable 2 ?, the bracket 18, the, Coils of the electric magnet, the line 23 with the same.
connected terminal 2, an ITin- sclialter 24 of known construction and the line 15 closed after the power source.
The electromagnet then attracts its armature and closes. thereby a circuit, which is connected to the line 14 via the: Terminal 2, the line 25, the incandescent lamp 3, the line 26, Gien fixed contact 12, the contact 10, the solenoid armature 9, the bracket 18, the Elelztromagnetspulen , the line 23, the changeover switch 24 and the line 15 after the power source, as well as a circuit, the main circuit,
from the leadership of St. Via the lamps 16, the line 27, the terminal 2 connected to the same, the line 28, the fixed contact 13, the contact: 11, the electromagnetic armature and from there, as above, via the line 1.5 to the power source.
The incandescent lamp 3 will heat the rail -1, which by its expansion in a particular way brings the contacts 5 and 6 into contact with two fixed contacts 29 and 30, which causes a short circuit of the magnetic coils via the contacts 5 and 29 takes place, as can be seen from the drawing, while via the contacts 6 and 30 and the rail 4 and the line 23 a connection in parallel with the part running via the 1-, ontacts 11 and 13, the solenoid armature and the solenoid coils of the main circuit is closed so that the I main circuit is not interrupted,
when the electromagnet releases its armature as a result of the short circuit, whereby the connection via the contacts 10 and 12 and 11 and 13 is interrupted. By bringing the contact 1.0 out of contact with the contact 12, the current through the lam_ne 3 is interrupted, after which the rail 4 is cooled down and pulls together by, during the pulling together,
first removes the short circuit of the electromagnetic coils via the contacts 5 and 29 and then interrupts the main circuit by removing the contacts 6 and 30 from one another.
By regulating screws 31 and 3? At the ends of which contacts 29 and 30 are arranged, the burning time of the lamps can be achieved, so to speak, for the same length of time for each of the contacts 6 on the leaf spring 7, so that the main current is only interrupted when the Rail 4 has been appropriately cooled so that the burning time of the lamps is, so to speak, the same length for each ignition, without focusing on the speed with which the ignition genes follow one another.
By changing the switch 24 you can turn off the stairs aulomat in a known manner and the lamps 16 di rectly between the lines 14 and 15 turn on.
Instead of the bulb 3 you can use any suitable electric Heizkör by.
In the time stream closer shown in Fig. 1, the contacts located on your heated body are moved exclusively as a result of the expansion of this body and therefore move in an extraordinarily short path. The main circuit is therefore interrupted over a very short distance between the relevant contacts and also with a very slow one. Movement, which is partly unfavorable with regard to the use of the time current closer with strong currents and partly requires extremely careful adaptation.
Furthermore, the slight movement of the contact causing the short circuit between the electromagnetic coils gives me little opportunity to precisely regulate the time in which the timing current should act, as well as any small mechanical (permanent) changes in shape that have an unfavorably large influence on the regulation . These inconveniences are avoided in the embodiment shown in FIG.
The body 4, which in this embodiment is designed as a tube surrounding the incandescent lamp, but of any convenient shape: a can, is attached at its lower end to the base plate and at its upper end has a pin extending transversely through the body 33, around which a unequal-armed lever is rotatable @ -elager t, whose short arm 34 is against an adjustable, fixed stop 35, while its long arm 36 carries a contact 37 made of platinum or other suitable material,
which contact is brought into contact with a second fixed and adjustable contact 38 during the upward movement of the arm 36.
The armature of the electromagnet 8 here carries a contact 39 which can be brought into contact with a fixed contact 40, an isolated from the armature and two con tacts 42 and 43 carrying, thin, resilient metal piece 41, which contacts by the attraction of the armature one of two fixed contacts 44 respectively. 45 are brought into contact, as well as an extension 46 made of iron, isolated from both the metal piece 41 and the armature 9, which extension ends in a hook 47 which can engage in a similar hook 48 at the end of the lever arm 36.
This apparatus works as follows: When one of the pushbuttons 17 in the staircase lighting system is pressed, a circuit is generated from the power source (not shown) via the line 15, the line 49, the push button 17, the line 50, the terminal 2 connected to the same. the line 51, the incandescent lamp 3, the Lei device 52, the solenoid coils, the Lei lines 53 and 54, the terminal 2 verbun with the latter, the line 55, deA switch 56 and the line 14 back: closed after the power source.
The elec tromagnet 8 thereby attracts its armature. and closes via the line 57, its anchor, the contacts 39 and 40 and the line 58 a connection parallel to the push button 17, so that the current through the bulb 3 and the electromagnetic coils is not interrupted when you let go of the push button, as well a circuit, the main circuit, from the power source, not shown, via line 15, line 49, lamps 16 in staircase lighting, ie line 59, which are connected to the same ,
(1 bonded terminal 2, the line 60, the contacts 44 and 42, the contact piece 41st, the contacts 43 and 45, the line 61, the line 541 and the terminal 2 of the same, the line 55, the switch 56 and the Line 14 goes to the power source The lamps 16 are then ignited and the body 4 is heated and consequently to expand upwards and further, in that the arm 34 rests against the fixed stop 35, the arm 36 in this way move upwards so that the contact 37 slowly moves towards the contact 38.
The latter, like the other fixed contacts 1-0, 44-, 45, can be regulated and, in view of the action of the arm 36 specified in more detail below, as a locking hook for the arm 46, except for the resilient one, for example, as shown in the drawing, is arranged at the end of a displaceable in a hollow, adjustable screw 62 bar mounted pin 63, which, actuated by a coil spring arranged in the screw 62 around the pin, is pressed for the arm 36 forward.
During the expansion of the body 4, the contact 37 will be brought into contact by the arm 36 with the contact 38. This causes a short circuit of the solenoid coils via lines 53 and 54, screw 62, contacts 38 and 37, arm 36, body 4 and line 64, so that the electromagnet releases its armature 9 and the connection between tween the contacts 39 and 40 is canceled, where the current through the bulb 3 is interrupted un. The contacts 42 and 43 are, however, as indicated below, arranged on a resilient metal piece 41 in this way.
that they are not removed from the contacts 44 and 45 at the same time as the disconnection between the contacts 3 9 and 40, but only after the contacts 39 and 40 have moved a certain distance apart from each other.
Due to the attraction of the anchor 9, the hook 47 is guided into the shown., Dotted position; by the upward movement of the arm 36, the hook 48 is moved up into the position also shown in dotted lines, so that the two hooks engage one another. If the armature is now released, it goes back so far that the connection between tween the contacts 39 and 40 is canceled; as a result of the engagement of the hooks, however, the.
Arm 36 the length around; 46 and the Metallstfick 41 lock in such a position that between the contacts 42 respectively. 43 and the contacts 44 respectively. 45 is still available, after which the anchor 9 has gone back: and the connection 39-40 has broken.
The main current is therefore not interrupted by demagnetization of the electromagnet, but only after the body has contracted so much that, by moving the arm 36 down, it removes the engagement between the hooks 47 and 48, so that the extension 46 and the 3Ietallstiick 41, which, as mentioned, is resilient, snap back and the contact connections .12-4.1 and 43-45 and thus interrupt the main current by a rapid movement.
The main current is interrupted quickly and in two places, which gives greater security against sparking than in the embodiment shown in FIG.
The changeover switch 56 is used in a known manner to switch off the time current closer when the lamps 16 are switched to constant burning.
The radiator can of course be any other suitable body than an incandescent lamp, just as the hooks 47 and .1 .8 can be replaced by suitable locking means, for example a spring, one end of which is on the lever 36 and the other The other end is attached to a known type of known type of switching arrangement operated by the solenoid armature armature such that the spring is tensioned during the upward movement of the lever and the contacts 42 and 43 hold with a resilient pressure, until said switching arrangement the spring again by Actuate supply of the lever 36 triggers during its Rückbewe supply.
In case a push button is up. fixes, the arm 36 will move continuously upwards, in that the current through the incandescent lamp 3 is then not interrupted as a result of the short circuit of the electrical coils. However, the movement of the arm 36 must be limited because of the otherwise strong mechanical operations, including the contact 38.
Such a limitation can expediently be achieved in that a contact connection (not shown) is switched on in one of the lines 51 or 52, which, if the upward movement of the arm 36 is sufficient over a certain point, is opened by mechanical actuation of the arm 36 and thereby interrupts the flow of heat. The limitation can, however, also take place in that the contact 38 interrupts the heat circuit in suitable, known Vreis by being pushed back too far.
Previously known timers of the type mentioned in the introduction, compared to the one described and shown above, has the advantage that the outside temperature, random air currents, etc. cannot have an unfavorable influence on the action of the timer.
