Non-winder with time-setting mechanism. The object of the invention is a winding watch with a time-setting mechanism; it may in particular be a watch with screw closure, that is to say a watch in which the bezel is screwed into the middle part.
It comprises, like other known watches, a rocker engaged with the stem of the winder and of the time-setting mechanism and limiting the travel of the stem. But it differs from it in that it comprises an or gane which can rotate and slide on the stem, which can be actuated by a push-piece, which is housed in the winding crown, and established so as to separate the lever from the stem. , which can then be removed from the watch case, the removal thus taking place in one simple operation, done without the aid of any tools.
In known watches of this type with screw closure it is necessary, in order to be able to remove the movement from the case, to first remove the bezel screwed into the middle part and the dial to reach a screw placed under the dial and serving to hold the lever. in place; it is therefore necessary to carry out two preliminary operations and to use a screwdriver.
In other known watches of this type, the case is cut to allow the pendant to pass; the opening is well covered by a lug of this pendant, but this covering cannot be so hermetic that the so-called hermetic closure of the watch with screw closure still exists in this case. In still other watches there are mechanisms inside the pendant to allow the stem to be released without first removing the bezel and the dial, but they are relatively complicated and require several operations to remove the stem. successive rations carried out for example; based on benchmarks, which requires attention and time.
The watch according to the invention does not have these drawbacks, since the removal of its stem takes place in a single simple operation, carried out without the aid of any tool.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, on a large scale, an embodiment of the watch constituted by a screw-lock watch with a pull-tab time-setting mechanism and variants of details.
The- fig. 1 is a partial front view thereof, after removal of the bezel and the dial; Fig. 2 is a view of a detail taken at 90 of FIG. 1, with sectional part; Fig. 2 <B> "It </B> is an axial section of the pendant; Figs. 3 to 7 relate to the variant details.
According to fig. 1 and 2 the stem a of the remon toir and of the pull-down time-setting mechanism has two collars a 'a' leaving between them a groove a3. In the groove a3 is housed the cylindrical head of a screw b1 carried by the rocker b pivoted at b 'on the plate c and: serving to limit the stroke of the rod a in both directions.
On the rod a can slide and turn a sleeve d constituting the member which is mentioned in the introduction and having a cylindrical shape over the greater part of its length, but having, at its inner end, a truncated cone dl . It can be moved from the outside to the inside by a push-piece e which is housed in the winding crown f to which it is not integral; for this purpose the pusher e is in contact with one of the ends of the two rods lt ', the other end of which rests on the sleeve d; the rods slide in a part il in which the rod a is screwed and which in turn is screwed into the crown f.
When the sleeve d is moved inwardly, it acts on a beak b3 of the rocker b to move the screw b1 away from the groove a3 and thus free the rod a which can therefore be removed in a single, very simple operation , made without using any tool; the nozzle b3 therefore almost touches the rod a.
The arm b4 of the lever, carrying the screw b ', has sufficient flexibility so that the screw b' can be moved away from a by an amount a little greater than the depth of the groove a3; it is held in its normal position by a spring g secured at g1 to the plate c.
When you want to put the rod a back in place, it suffices to insert it fully into the opening of the box while acting on the pusher e, which brings the branch b4 of the rocker b to a position such that the groove a3 can pass opposite screw b1. By abandoning the push-button e, the engagement of b 'and a3 is produced. Replacing, like removal, therefore takes place in one simple operation, without the aid of tools.
The protrusion of the pusher e out of the crown f to the rest position is represented exaggeratedly in fig.l, for greater clarity; in reality it can be much lower.
As can be seen from the foregoing, the manufacture of this embodiment does not differ on the whole in any way from that of a watch with screw closure, except as regards the sleeve.
In certain cases, there is not the required space between plate c and the lion dial represented for the spring g. The axis of rotation b2 of the rocker is then established so as to be able to slide with the latter in holes in the plate c and in the ball bridge h. In the latter is also provided a lil housing which is placed a spring z (fig. 3 to 5),
Initially flat but ultimately curved so as to act on a collar b 'of the axis b' to maintain the rocker b normally in the position shown in FIG. 3, that is to say in engagement with the rod a.
According to fig. 6 and 7 the rocker b has between its pivot b 'and its beak b3 a milled part b' which is thus thinner than its other parts, which gives the branch b4 sufficient elasticity so that we can dispense with the separate spring g or i of fig. 1 and 3-5.
The time-setting mechanism may be a pushchair instead of a pull-tab. Although the invention is intended to be applied in particular to a screw-lock watch, because it is especially advantageous in this case for for the reasons given in the introduction, it can also be applied to a closed watch in another way.
