Claims (9)

  1. Winding and setting stem device for a watch, including a first stem (1) rotating about its longitudinal axis, mounted to be axially mobile at least between a winding position and a hand-setting position and provided with means (32) for securing it to a manual control crown on the exterior of the watch, and a second stem (2), substantially parallel and shifted in relation to said first stem and provided with means for selectively driving in rotation a winding mechanism (20) and a hand-setting mechanism (24), the first and second stems being connected in rotation by a transmission device (5),
    characterized in that said second stem (2) is secured rotation-wise to a sliding pinion (8) arranged to be actuated by a lever (52), one end of which is engaged in a peripheral groove (51) of the sliding pinion, in order to move axially between two positions, the lever (52) being part of a pull-out mechanism (6) which is activated by the first stem sliding from its winding position to its hand-setting position and vice versa, the sliding pinion (8) being meshed with the winding mechanism in one of its positions and with the hand-setting mechanism in the other position.
  2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the second stem (2) does not slide and includes a section (9) having a non-circular transverse section, on which the sliding pinion (8) is slidably engaged.
  3. Device according to claim 2, characterized in that said non-circular cross-section is square.
  4. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the second stem (2) is supported at both ends by fixed elements (11, 15) of the watch movement.
  5. Device according to claim 2, characterized in that said transmission device has a gear and includes a first pinion (35), having a central hole of non-circular cross-section slidably engaged on a non-circular section of the first stem, and a last pinion (44) fixed to the second stem and permanently meshed with the first pinion.
  6. Device according to claim 5, characterized in that said first pinion (35) is held stationary in the axial direction by fixed elements (13, 14) which support the first stem.
  7. Device according to claim 6, characterized in that the first pinion (35) is supported by at least one (13) of said fixed elements by means of a bearing.
  8. Device according to claim 5, characterized in that said last pinion (44) is flanked by a winding pinion (21) freely mounted on the second stem and arranged for cooperating with a contrate toothing (48) of the sliding pinion (8).
  9. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the second stem slides and is secured to the sliding pinion.
