Description

  

      Haudschutzkappe    an     Fahriadern.       Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schutzkappe,       welche    dazu bestimmt ist, die Hand eines  Radfahrers (für gewöhnliche Fahrräder, so  wohl als für Motorfahrräder' zu schützen,  und zwar sowohl gegen etwaige Stösse, als  gegen den beim Fahren entstehenden Luft  zug.  



  Die     Handschutzkappe    ist     gekennzeichnet          durch    einen muschelartigen Schirm, der  mit Befestigungsorganen versehen ist, um  ihn am     IHandsteuerllebel    des Fahrrades zu  befestigen und der derart bemessen     uncl    an  geordnet ist, dass er die. den Hebel haltende  Hand     einesteils    gegen     etwaige    Stösse und  andernteils gegen den beim     Fahren    erzeug  ten Luftzug schützt, wobei dieser     Luftzug     gleichzeitig auch vom Handgelenk des Fah  r enden 'abgeleitet wird.  



  Die Zeichnung stellt beispielsweise eine  Ausführungsform der     Erfindung    dar.

           a    ist eine muschelartige Kappe, die     vor-          teilhaft    aus Leder besteht und einen hals  artigen     Anpass        a1    besitzt, der dazu bestimmt  ist, sich am Handgriff b eines     Fahrradsteuer-          llebels    anzulegen und     mittelst    einer Klam  mer c daran befestigt zu werden.  



  Aus den     Fig.    1, 2 und 3 der Zeichnung  ist     ersichtlich,    dass die Kappe     a    die Hand  des     Fahrendern    schützt, ohne     deren    Bewe  gungen zu'     hindern,    und     class    der Luftzug  nach allen Seiten     lein    vorn der Hand     resp.     vom Handgelenk des Fahrenden abgelenkt       wird.     



  Wenn die     Kappe    a aus Leder geformt  ist, kann dieselbe mit einer Metallgarnitur  d versehen sein, welche ihr die nötige Steif  heit verleiht. Auch. können die Ränder der  selben mit Metall verstärkt werden.  



  Die     Kappe    kann auch aus Aluminium  oder anderem Metall hergestellt werden.  Am andern Handgriff des Steuerhebels       wird    eine ähnliche Schutzkappe von sym  metrischer Form angebracht.
