Housing for cylinder locks that can be adjusted according to the door thickness. The present invention relates to a housing for cylinder locks that can be adjusted to suit the door thickness. The same has a cylindrical middle part, a cylindrical fleece part which can be screwed on at one end and which can seep against rotation on the outside of the door, and a second cylindrical flange part which can be screwed on at the other end of the middle part and percolates to the middle part.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in two exemplary embodiments, and it shows: FIG. 1 such a housing as a first exemplary embodiment in longitudinal section, attached to a door, and FIG. 2 shows a section along the line -4-ss of the FIG. 1; Fig. 3 shows such a housing in a second embodiment in longitudinal section, attached to a door and Fig. 4 shows a section along the line C-D of FIG.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2, 4 is a cylindrical middle part, which has two tubular rings 8 and 9 provided with threads on the outside, as well as in the middle full part a cavity i7 which is used to hold a latch or a bolt and its moving parts serves. 7a, is a cross hole which is intended to receive the cam sleeve for the bolt or latch. This is eccentric to the cylindrical middle part 4. It is a flange part which has an internal thread in such a way that it can be screwed onto the tubular ring S of the middle section 4. This flange part has on the rear side of its flange 12 resting against the outside of the door 1, points 3 which serve to secure it against rotation on the door.
Instead of the tips, other means, e.g. B. pins, which can prevent rotation of the flange part 2 to the door 1. A second flange part 6 is screwed onto the tubular ring 9, which like the flange part \? is cylindrical, with all parts of the I_littelstüclkes 4, the flansolite part? and the flange part 6. like the fing. The outer diameter of the dykes has 1 time, so that a single hole penetrating the door is sufficient to insert these parts into the door.
On the flange 6 an adjusting screw 5 is arranged, which engages with its tip in a groove 10 of the tubular ring 9 a. This makes it possible to secure the central stem 4 and the flange part 6 against rotation relative to one another in different positions. The through the flange part 2 and the middle part 4 on the one hand created fene cavity 13, as well as the through the flange part 6 and the middle part 4 on the other hand created fene cavity 14 are intended to lock parts, for. B. tumblers to include.
The attachment of this housing to the door he follows in such a way that one first sets the middle part 4 and the flange part 6 to one another so that the distance between the surface 15 of the flange 16 of the flange part 6 from the outer surface 17 of the tubular ring 8 is the same Thickness of the door 1, which can easily be achieved by remeasuring.
Once this is done, the flange part 2 is first inserted from one side of the door into the drilled hole and secured against rotation by driving in the tips 3, so that the flange 12 rests firmly against one side of the door. Then you screw the two together by the setscrew 5 be fastened pieces 4 and 6 by means of the pipe wreath 8 in the flange piece 2ein until the surface 15 of the flange 16 rests firmly on the other side of the door. The housing can be adjusted to suit different door thicknesses. It is 11 a piece of pipe which communicates with the cavity 7, as shown in FIG.
The same is through a hole drilled from the case side of the door, after which the pieces 4, 2 and 6 are fastened to the door be, on the center piece 4 can be screwed radially and is used to Durehführung the bolt, respectively. the trap.
The advantage of this housing is that it no longer makes it necessary to spare the door frame for a box-shaped part of the lock, such as the previous housings for cylinder locks, and that the lock parts; For example, the tumblers are secured against the wood of the door in the lock, so that correct work is more guaranteed than with cylinder locks where the housing does not allow this. The housing requires more drilling work in the wood of the door, such as mortising work. The former can be done more easily and more accurately.
It is also easy to mount the housing on the door.
In the Ausfülhrungsformnm according to Fig. 3 and 4, the flange parts 2 and 6, the pipe rings 8 and 9, # @ eschraubt, while rend they are screwed on the same in the first embodiment. Furthermore, the bore 7a is centered on the center piece 4.
