Rotierbare Waschbürste. Es sind schon Bürsten bekannt, welche mit der Axe einer Turbine fest verbunden sind, wobei die Abwasserleitung der Turbine seitlich der Axe so angeordnet ist, dass das austretende Wasser auf die Bürste trifft. Die Spülung ist aber bei diesen Apparaten keine rationelle. denn das meiste, auf die schnell rotierende Bürste auftreffende Wasser wird von dieser von der zu reinigenden Stelle ab geschlagen, oder es schwemmt den an der Bürste hängenden Schmutz wieder auf die zu reinigende Stelle zurück.
Demgegenüber ist bei der vorliegenden Erfindung die Anordnung so getroffen, dass das Turbinenabwasser in den, einen Hohl körper bildenden, Bürstenkörper eingeleitet wird und durch Perforationen im Bürsten körper austritt. Es wirkt also immer in Rich tung von der Bürste weg; ein Teil spült die zu reinigende Stelle, der andere Teil die Bürstenborsten von innen nach aussen ab, wobei durch die Schleuderwirkung der schnell rotierenden Bürste die Spülwirkung des Wassers bedeutend erhöht wird.
Die Zeichnung stellt ein Ausführungsbei spiel der Eefindung dar. Fig. 1 zeigt einen Längsschnitt durch die Wasserbürste, Fig. 2 eine Ansicht derselben; Fig. 3 ist ein Schnitt nach A-B, und Fig. 4 ein Schnitt nach C-D in Fig. 1. In einem Gehäuse a mit dem Anschluss stutzen b und abnehmbarem Deckel mit Hand griff c ist das Turbinenrad d gelagert.
Die Turbinenwelle e tritt auf der einen Seite des Gehäusen a aus diesem heraus und ragt mit ihrem freien Ende axial in die zentrale Boh rung des Bürstenkörpers f hinein und ist mit letzterem fest verbunden.
Über die Welle e ist eine Röhre lt ge schoben, die einerends in den Kopf eines Stutzens g am Gehäuse a eingeschraubt ist und auf deren anderem Ende die Führungs rnuffe i aufgeschraubt ist. Eine durchbro chene Zwischenwand l der hohlen Muffe i bildet ein Lagerauge für die Welle e, und in einer zentralen Bohrung am freien Ende der Muffe i ist eine Lagerhülse<I>7c</I> lose drehbar, die durch Flanschenverbindung mit dem Bürstenholze f' fest verbunden ist.
Der Ablaufkanal m der Turbine mündet in den hohlen Kopf des Stutzens g, so dass daTurbinenwasser in die Röhre 1r und aus dieser durch die hohle Muffe i in den hohlen Bürstenkörper f gelangt, und da der Wasser druck das Turbinenrad d, dessen Welle e mit dein Bürstenkörper f fest verbunden ist, in schnelle Rotation versetzt, so wird das Abwasser durch die Perforationen o des Kör pers f den Borsten entlang nach aussen ge schleudert.
Die Waschbürste nach vorliegender Er findung eignet sich insbesondere zum Putzen von Wagen und Automobilen.
Das Rohr 1r, kann beliebig lang gemacht werden, damit der die Bürste bedienende, der sie am Handgriffe c lenkt, genügend weit vom Bürstenkopf entfernt stehen kann. Da um das Rohr h herum keine Teile des Apparates vorstehen, kann man leieht mit der Bürste überall hingelangen, was ein weiterer grosser Vorteil der vorliegenden Waschbürste ist. "
Rotatable washing brush.
