Description
Serrure. La présente invention a pour objet une serrure pour chaîne à bétail. Une forme d'exécution de cette dernière est représentée en fig. 1 du dessin ci-joint; les autres figures concernent des variantes.
La serrure comporte une cage a dans la quelle est enfoncée en partie un chien b muni d'une boucle c à laquelle on ac croche la chaîne à bétail. La pièce b est munie d'encoches d dans lesquelles s'engagent, lorsque la serrure est fermée, les crochets f des leviers e1 et e2. Ces deux leviers e1 et e2 sont maintenus en place par le ressort g. La cage a comporte deux ouvertures h1 et h2 permettant chacune de presser sur un bras des leviers. En ce fai sant, la pièce b est dégagée et la serrure est ouverte. La pièce b peut ensuite être sortie de la cage, ce qui peut se faire automatique ment lorsqu'il est prévu, par exemple, un ressort i qui pousse la pièce b. La fig. 2 se rapporte à une forme d'exécution dans la quelle la serrure n'est pas ouverte à la main mais au moyen d'une clé.
A cet, effet, il est prévu aux leviers e1 et e2 des prolongements k1 et k2 engagés de telle façon l'un dans l'autre qu'ils forment une ouverture l dans laquelle la clé est introduite; en la tournant on actionne les leviers et ouvre la serrure. Il est également possible de prévoir la ser rure avec un électro-aimant, comme indi qué en fig. 3. L'électro-aimant est placé dans la cage, entre les bras des leviers e1 et e2; si l'on fait passer le courant électrique, l'élec- tro-aimant attire les bras des leviers, la boucle est dégagée et la serrure ouverte.
Dans cette dernière forme d'exécution, il est possible d'ouvrir simultanément depuis un endroit éloigné plusieurs serrures, les électro-aimants de toutes les serrures étant branchés en série. Ce genre de serrure a l'avantage que, en cas de danger, le bétail peut être détaché très rapidement. Il faut naturellement que la conduite électrique soit montée de façon telle qu'elle ne puisse pas être endommagée par le bétail.
Lock. The present invention relates to a lock for a cattle chain. One embodiment of the latter is shown in FIG. 1 of the attached drawing; the other figures relate to variants.
The lock comprises a cage a in which a dog b is partially embedded, provided with a loop c to which the cattle chain is hooked. Part b is provided with notches d in which engage, when the lock is closed, the hooks f of levers e1 and e2. These two levers e1 and e2 are held in place by the spring g. The cage has two openings h1 and h2 each allowing levers to be pressed on an arm. In doing so, part b is released and the lock is opened. The part b can then be taken out of the cage, which can be done automatically when a spring i is provided, for example, which pushes the part b. Fig. 2 relates to an embodiment in which the lock is not opened by hand but by means of a key.
To this end, the levers e1 and e2 are provided with extensions k1 and k2 engaged in such a way that they form an opening l into which the key is inserted; turning it activates the levers and opens the lock. It is also possible to provide the lock with an electromagnet, as shown in fig. 3. The electromagnet is placed in the cage, between the arms of levers e1 and e2; if the electric current is passed, the electromagnet attracts the arms of the levers, the buckle is released and the lock opened.
In the latter embodiment, it is possible to simultaneously open several locks from a remote location, the electromagnets of all the locks being connected in series. This kind of lock has the advantage that, in case of danger, the cattle can be detached very quickly. Of course, the electric line must be mounted in such a way that it cannot be damaged by cattle.
