Description

Double collier.

Double collar. The object of the invention is a double neck tie, intended for the assembly of two parts whose length is much greater than the largest dimension of their cross section, and which cross without interfering, this double collar comprising two pairs of flanges and being characterized in that a flange of one of the pairs is ac colée back to back to one of the flanges of the other pair.

The accompanying drawing shows several embodiments of the object of the invention given as examples.

Fig. 1 shows, in elevation, a first embodiment, of which FIG. 2 is a view from left to right of FIG. 1; Figs. 3 to 6 show, in elevation; four other forms of execution; Fig. 7 shows a third embodiment, for assembling parts at a variable angle; Fig. 8 shows a variant of the latter embodiment.

In fig. 1 and. 2, A and B are two cylindrical bars which cross at right angles, without penetrating each other. A pair of flanges a '\ - a = encloses the bar A and the -al flange is joined closed to closed to the flange b1 of a second pair of flanges b'-b' which encloses the bar B.

The embodiment shown in fib. 3 differs from the first only in that the bridle b- is, made in two parts.

In the embodiment of FIG. 4, the flange is. fixed back to back to the flange b1 in a position in which the axis of the bar A forms an angle X with the bar B.

The embodiment shown in FIGS. -a and 6 is similar to that of Figs. 1. and 2, except that bar A is here, of rectangular section and bar B, of square section.

Fig. 7 shows an embodiment, in which the flanges a 'and b1 are ac colées closed to the back using an intermediate piece c which allows them to be placed at various angles with respect to each other, â. the other.

The: fig. <S shows a variant of the latter embodiment, in which the intermediate part c ', provided like the part c, with threaded rods f and q , has spheroidal recesses d and e intended to receive corresponding projections from the flanges b ', respectively n', as can be seen with regard to al in this figure.

The flange a 'is fixed to the part cl using an internal nut screwed onto the threaded rod g.

This arrangement makes it possible to vary in all directions the angle formed between them by the axes of the bars A and B.

The embodiments shown can be executed for the most diverse applications: assembly of cylindrical bars with one another or with bars of any cross section; they can be metal or other materials and will be suitable. particularly for the construction of shelves for shop windows or displays, racks, hangers, scaffolding, balustrades etc. They will replace advantageously. known fittings which require threading of the tubes to be assembled.
