Mauerwerk.

Masonry. The subject of the present invention is a masonry, in which in transverse walls, wel che at least three spaced longitudinal walls ver tie with each other, openings are arranged so that in no horizontal sections through the masonry a full cross-section of the transverse wall is present, so that in none On the horizontal valley level there is a massive, that is, an uninterrupted, full wall cross-section extending from one outer surface to the other.
The drawing shows two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention, and it is: Fig. 1 is a vertical section through the first embodiment along the line A-B of FIG. 2, and FIG. 2 is a horizontal section along the line C-D) of FIG. 1; Fig. 3 shows the second Ausführungsbei game in vertical section. along the line E-F of FIG. 4, and FIG. 4 shows a horizontal section along the line G-H of FIG.

<SEP> The parts of the transverse walls 10, which connect the outer longitudinal walls 6 and 9 with the adjacent longitudinal walls, have openings 13 which are connected to the inner longitudinal walls 7, respectively. 8 connect and not his to the outer walls 6, respectively. 9 range. In the parts of the transverse walls 10 are located between the longitudinal walls 7 and 8, openings 14 are provided, which extend from the longitudinal wall 7 to the longitudinal wall 8.
The openings 13 and 14 are arranged differently in the Höhenlabe, in such a way that, as in the first embodiment, for example, in any horizontal section through the wall openings 13 of part of a transverse wall 10 is a full cross-section of a neighboring part of this transverse wall 10 is opposite , or between the full cross section of the outer parts of a transverse wall 10 an opening 14 of the intermediate part of this transverse wall 10 is located. Through the openings 13 and 14, the spaces between each two longitudinal walls form a coherent whole, without, however, a solid, i.e. an uninterrupted, full wall cross-section extending from one outer surface to the other, in any horizontal plane.
The described arrangement of the spaces and the transverse walls connecting the longitudinal walls achieve good thermal insulation. by forming the largest possible heat insulating air layers and preventing a direct path of heat transfer through the wall body if possible.
In the event of a local temperature change, the air equilibrium in the heat insulating air layer that is closest to this location is
