Abstract
The modular kit makes it possible to assemble and assemble eyewear instantly according to desire and opportunity from various components, that is, from a selection for the essential components of the eyeglasses. Everything is thus quickly and safely interchangeable. The glasses may therefore have lenses (4), which may also have different dioptres. The spectacle frame has a divided or continuous spectacle middle part (2), with on both sides of a frame bracket (1) thereto. The sections (3) of the middle part (2) of the spectacle frame, which come to lie over the eyes when worn, form a downwardly open groove (7). In this groove (7), the associated lenses (4) can be inserted from below and are held securely therein solely due to clamping, frictional or magnetic force.
Description
Description: This invention relates to a modular kit for the individual assembly of a pair of spectacles, so that the spectacles can be individually freely configured from the individual components. Furthermore, the invention relates to a component of this module kit freely configured and assembled spectacles. As a special feature, such a pair of spectacles individual spectacle lenses, for quick and individual change of the individual lenses for each eye, preferably without tools.
So far, the conventionally made glasses are widely used. The customer can choose a suitable one for spectacles from a huge selection of spectacle frames, and then the optician installs the spectacle lenses individually adapted to the spectacle wearer into the selected spectacle frame. One speaks of spectacle lenses, although in fact and truth today probably 95% of the lenses are made of plastic. The installation of the lenses is usually done with special tools and the lenses are then held immovable and secure in their version. The replacement is usually done exclusively by the expert, often using special tools. Also known are click systems in which the lenses are fastened by means of latching devices on the spectacle frame.
For example, documents CN 2 509 600 YY and CN 2014 89 208 UU show such a click system. The document CN 101 290 400 A shows a system in which the spectacle lenses are comprised of a wire which is tensioned by means of a spring force into a socket in the spectacle frame. And the document US 5 098 180 A shows a pair of glasses in which the glasses are individually inserted from above into lower enclosures, which are then clickable on the upper part of the separate spectacle frame. And the document US 6 309 066 B1 shows a pair of spectacles with a frame which runs along the lower edge of the spectacle lenses and there forms a groove into which the spectacle lenses are inserted and subsequently held. The frame encloses the lenses by about half their circumference, preferably from below. It is proposed to make the frame or a part thereof, especially near the eyelids, of a soft material so that the glasses are comfortable to wear. WO 2012/044 142 A1 is an elaborate spectacle frame construction, which allows the inclusion of flat spectacle lenses, which are laterally inserted and held in grooves. Finally, US 2006 268 218 A1 shows a spectacle frame with a frame around the spectacle lenses, which is open at one point and elastically bendable. The two opposite ends of this framing edge of the lenses are zusammenklickbar, which serve barbs, which then act like a ratchet.
On the other hand, there are numerous models of inexpensive reading glasses, which then have on both sides identical, fixed-mounted and standard with the spectacle frame connected lenses with a uniform diopter. Most of the lenses are even inseparably connected to the glasses frame, such as by gluing or welding, or they consist together with the glasses frame of a one-piece plastic part.
However, what is not available in the market, this is a pair of glasses that is freely configurable from a selection of items from the wearer himself after his current taste and is freely and immediately assembled by him, either with or without the aid of tools. Also not available is a pair of glasses with the spectacle wearer himself quickly, safely, easily and without tools interchangeable, individual lenses of different diopters. Especially less well-to-do people would be happy to not have to replace the entire glasses with changed eyesight, but only to exchange the glasses. Even families with children wearing glasses could benefit from the interchangeability of the components.
Such freely configurable glasses could be offered in a large variety, as a fashion and lifestyle accessory. A few decades ago, you owned a single watch and often kept it for years, some for a lifetime. With the well-known "plastic watch" from Swatch, the watch became an accessory and mass-produced product. Due to their comparatively low price, customers can buy several such watches, and then wear a suitable wristwatch, depending on the occasion, without having to compromise on the quality of the time display. In the same way, glasses with quickly exchangeable lenses and a completely modular design could become a freely configurable lifestyle product, without compromising on the quality of the effective visual aid. On the contrary: Due to the free and rapid interchangeability of the lenses could be quickly and easily responded to the spectacle wearer to a change in his eyesight and simply the lens in question are replaced by one with stronger or weaker correction. Even with a design as reading glasses, the diopter for each individual eye could be adjusted immediately optimally. The glasses could thus be adapted to the aesthetic taste as well as to the visual impairment instantly, yes by the spectacle wearer himself the glasses could be assembled according to his current ideas from A to Z, and there would be an almost infinite number of possible combinations.
The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a modular kit for freely configurable and modular assemble glasses of different design with all its components, preferably, but not necessarily, without any tools. Above all, the rapid replacement of the individual lenses is to be made possible without tools, so that the associated glasses frame can be equipped with any associated lenses, with left and right same or different diopter of the lenses. The replacement is to be done quickly, extremely simple and foolproof, and the lenses should be kept safe in the spectacle frame, so that even when mechanical shocks such as when playing sports there is no danger to lose the glasses Leni glasses out of the socket. Also temperature and humidity differences as well as wetness and ice should not affect the bottle aging for the glasses.
This object is achieved by a modular assembly for individually configurable assembly of glasses consisting of modular freely composable components of the glasses, namely a plurality of individual lenses, temples, continuous middle parts, divided into two halves middle parts of middle parts with integrally molded brackets, lower edge brackets and webs and hinge parts. Furthermore, the object is achieved by a pair of glasses composed of a module assembly for individually configurable assembly, which is characterized in that those portions of the central part of the spectacle frame, which come to lie over the eyes when worn, form a downwardly open groove, in which the associated lenses are inserted from below and are held therein solely by clamping, frictional, adhesive or magnetic force or positive engagement, or the middle part includes a groove rail, in which the lenses in the longitudinal direction to the groove rail with her Matching top edge are form-fitting inserted.
In the figures, embodiments of such a modular assembly and the spectacles thus produced are shown and in the following description, these module modules and individual glasses are described as examples in more detail and their function and their peculiarities and advantages will be explained. It is clear that these examples are not exhaustive and the specific embodiment of the examples shown may vary or combinations thereof are feasible.

Fig. 1 shows a pair of glasses, which is constructed of parts of such a modular kit, with their essential components, which are all individually and separately parts of the modular kit, in different versions of each part. Thus, the modular assembly includes a plurality of temples 1, a plurality of middle parts 2, further a plurality of middle parts 2, which are executed separately in two halves, a plurality of webs 5, and a plurality of lenses 4 diopter and spectacle lens shapes and lower edge arcs 28, shown in Fig. 6 are. In the example shown in FIG. 1, some of these parts have been selected and have been assembled and connected to this pair of glasses. For these compounds, there are several variants: plug-in connections, snap-fit connections, form-locking connections, sliding connections with spring and groove with dovetail profiles or similar profiles that fit into each other in a profile-form-fitting manner, magnetic connections, adhesive rubber connections, suction cup connections and also screw connections. For the modular kit for individually configurable assembly of glasses consisting of modular freely composable components of the glasses, namely from a plurality of individual lenses 4, of temple 1, of continuous middle parts 2, divided into two halves 3 middle parts 2, of middle parts 2 with integrally molded there ironing 1, 5 of webs and hinge parts 6, the assembly of the individual parts by a combination of the following connections can be realized: by means of connectors, whereby the components of the modular kit by frictional force, clamping force, adhesive force, by positive engagement, by suction cups, suction or magnetic force are held together, by means of one another in the longitudinal direction to the groove sliding groove connections, said groove connections are secured by frictional force, clamping force, adhesive force or magnetic force or by Profilformschlüssigkeit against a shift back or mitt Els mating snap connections are connectable by a part with the part to be connected forms a snap connection, the parts are pushed together when pushed over a point with maximum resistance away and are subsequently secured by positive engagement, clamping force or magnetic force before separating the parts , However, a tool-free assembly is favored without any aids.
Fig. 2 shows these glasses in the disassembled state, ie disassembled into their individual components. The middle part 2 is divided into two halves, namely in the two areas 3, which come to rest over the eyes of the wearer. Next, the web 5 is a separate component. This web 5 can be inserted via tongue and groove joints from below into the inner ends of the middle part halves, up to a stop. Thus, the Mitteilteil halves on the intermediate web 5 are securely and firmly holding together. The temple 1 may be at a fixed angle to the middle part halves, or be additionally equipped with a hinge. The spectacle lenses 4 are simply inserted from below into special grooves 7 on the middle part 2 in the example shown. These grooves are open at the bottom and designed so that they receive the lenses 4 saturated with their standardized thickness at the edge. The Nutenflügel can be elastically spreadable or stiff. In both cases, their inner sides are coated with a rubber or a rubber-elastic material or equipped with special clamping profiles, so that the lenses 4 are held securely therein, either by clamping force, by static friction, or even magnetic or otherwise, as will be explained.
Fig. 3 shows an alternative eyeglass model, which is assembled from the same modular kit. Here are the lenses 4 square executed. As shown in FIG. 4, they can be inserted from top to bottom laterally in the grooves 8 on the web 5, including the inner edge sides of the lenses 4 are designed with a corresponding spring 9 with, for example thickened outer edge region of the spring. The lenses 4 are inserted into equally shaped grooves 8 from above into the hinge parts 20 and their outer edges are formed in matching springs 9. The hinge parts 20 may be integrally hingedly connected to the temple pieces 1 via a film hinge so that they are pivotable thereon, as will be shown in greater detail.
Fig. 5 shows a further embodiment. In these glasses, the lenses are 4 from below in grooves 7 on the middle part 2 can be inserted, but the grooves 7 along their bottoms, each with a magnetic strip 13 are equipped. The upper edges of the lenses 4 on the other hand are equipped with a fine metal strip 14, or they have a metallic vapor deposition 14 on. If the lenses 4 are inserted into these grooves 7, they are completely and fully drawn into the groove 7 by the magnetic force of the magnetic strip 13 and are thereafter held securely therein due to the magnetic force acting. However, they can be pulled out of the groove 7 at any time with enough force. Alternatively, the groove bottoms of the grooves 7 may also be coated with an adhesive rubber or the upper edge of the lenses 4 is provided with such adhesive rubber. When inserted into the groove 7 that reinforces the connection, but it still remains detachable, because with enough pulling force, the lens 4 can be pulled out of the Nutz 7 again. In a central part with straight grooves 7, these can have an expandable rubber profile inside, which runs along the groove 7. When a spectacle lens 4 is inserted along the groove, the rubber profile is spread and lies snugly on the spectacle lens 4 and, because of its tendency to assume the original, less spread form, creates an oppression against the outside of the profile. The spectacle lens is therefore held on the profile due to an additional suction force. For insertion one wets advantageously its edge with water. Other mounting options for the lenses 4 are shown with reference to FIGS. 10 to 17.
Fig. 6 shows a variant in which in addition to the already shown and described embodiments, the lenses 4 are additionally bordered from below. These include the lower edge arches 28 as parts of the modular kit. These marginal arcs 28 have an upwardly open groove and can thus be pushed from below onto the lower edges of the lenses 4. Afterwards they are inserted in the example shown by means of plug connections with a tongue 23 in a slot 22 on the central part 2. Alternatively, a magnetic connection can be realized. The tongue and the slot as a male and female connector part may have a bore, so that it can be used by a locking screw. As an alternative, there is merely a small nub on the tongue as shown, which is pushed past a nub in the slot, in which case the slot gives way slightly elastically, so that it widens and then snaps into place.
In Figs. 7a-c, a possible embodiment of a simple hinge for the temple 1 is shown. This hinge is not visible from the outside in Fig. 7a, because it is formed by a mere dilution of material between middle part 2 and temple 1. In Fig. 7b, the hinge is pivoted from its 90 ° position by a few degrees. One recognizes there the material dilution 21. This forms a film hinge. The temple 1 can be pivoted about this film hinge from the state for wearing the glasses by 90 ° to the middle part 2, after which the hinge is as shown in Fig. 7c.
An alternative embodiment of the hinge part is shown in Fig. 8. The hinge part consists of two mutually rotatable parts 23, each having a tongue 24, 25. The tongue 25 is inserted against frictional or clamping force in a matching slot on the central part 2, to which this slot is made slightly resilient, and the longer tongue 24 is inserted into a matching opening in the temple 1, wherein it can be held with a snap mechanism, or also purely by clamping or friction force.
Finally, Fig. 9 still shows a section horizontally through the middle sections and the web 5 and a temple 1, for an embodiment in which these parts are all by means of a tongue and groove connection along these respective grooves pushed one inside the other, and thanks dovetail the dovetailed profile of the tongue and spring and dig into each other. Of course, the profile can also be designed differently than dovetail-shaped, so that also forces in all directions are absorbable. The pushing takes place up to an intended stop and against overcoming a sufficient friction, so that a secure connection is produced, which, however, can be reversed to replace the parts at will with sufficient force and thus is solvable. All these compounds can be implemented in many embodiments, for plugging, for telescoping, or with magnetic mounts, as a suction cup or Saugleisten connection or for screwing.
In the following figures, various embodiments of the actual holder of the lenses 4 are shown in the downwardly open groove 7 in the middle part 2 of the spectacle frame. Thus, FIG. 10 shows a variant with a middle part 2 of an elastic material, for example a plastic material, which has a surface finish which develops a high frictional force on the spectacle lens 4 or its plastic. The spectacle lens 4 is inserted from below into the groove 7, with slight spreading of the two wings 16 of the groove 7 in the direction indicated by the arrows. In order for insertion to be easier, the upper edges of the lenses 4 are slightly broken or rounded, and the inner lower edges of the groove 7 are clearly rounded, as shown in FIG.
In Fig. 11, a similar embodiment of the spectacle frame 2 and its groove 7 is shown, with the difference that here the inner sides of the wings 16 of the groove 7 are equipped with a special adhesive material 9. This is a rubber profile or a rubber-elastic material with high frictional force on the lens surface. In the example shown, 9 prongs are formed on this adhesive material, to increase the clamping and frictional force on the inserted lens 4. The wings 16 on the eyeglass frame 2 are slightly elastic, so they can yield easily when inserting the lens 4 in the direction shown by arrows but just yield elastically, so that the Nutenflügel 16 exert a constant pressure on the lens edges and therefore develop the necessary clamping and frictional force. The lenses 4 are therefore held solely because of this clamping and frictional force on the spectacle frame, without screws, and without any hooking mechanical connections, latches or pawls. The lenses 4 are held only by insertion into the groove 7 by about 2mm to 5mm, depending on the specific design of glasses frame, groove and lenses.
Fig. 12 shows an embodiment with a spectacle frame 2 with elastic wings 16 of the groove 7. The insides of these wings 16 are equipped with a rubber-elastic coating 10, which comes to lie flat on the edge region of the lenses 4. Here, the frictional force is generated on the spectacle lens 4 due to the large bearing surface of the rubber-elastic material of this coating 10 produced in this way. This coating may for example be a so-called sponge rubber, or it may consist of a material with similar properties, which is laminated or welded.
Zum Beschaffen einer hinreichenden Elastizität der Nut zum Einschieben der Brillengläser 4 ist dieFig. 13 also shows such an embodiment with inner sides of the wings 16, which are both equipped with a rubber-elastic coating 10, and then rest flat on the two opposite edge regions of the lenses 4. Here, however, the groove 7 is stiff, with no or hardly yielding, stiff wings of the groove 7. That is about the case when the glasses frame is made of a metal, for example, aluminum, titanium or a refined metal. To obtain a sufficient elasticity of the groove for inserting the lenses 4 is the
Beschichtung 10 oder Einlage aus gummielastischem Material dicker ausgeführt als im Fall von elastisch nachgebenden Nuten-Flügeln 16.Coating 10 or insert of rubber-elastic material made thicker than in the case of elastically yielding groove wings 16th
In Fig. 14, another embodiment with a rigid groove 7 is shown. Here, the inner sides of the groove 7 are equipped with a rubber-elastic profile 11, which at least one lip, in the example shown a number of sharp lips 17 forms, which are directed against the interior of the groove 7 out. These lips 17 are curved during insertion of the lens 4, and then act due to their elasticity on the lens 4 and hold it in the groove 7 firmly. In addition, the edge region of the lenses 4 may be provided with grooves 29 which come to lie behind the lips 17 during insertion and dig it into them, so to speak.
In Fig. 15, another embodiment with a rigid groove 7 is shown. Here, the inner sides of the wings 16 of the groove 7 are equipped with a rubber-elastic hollow profile 12 which extends along the groove 7. When inserting the lens 4, the profiles 12 are easily crushed and so an elastic force is generated, which acts on the lens 4. When the cavities are made closed by sealing or sealing the hollow profiles 12 at, for example, both ends of the profile 1s, the squeezing creates a gas pressure in the closed hollow profile which tends to swell the profile 12 in addition to the elasticity of the material, thus also providing elasticity Force acts on the lenses 4 and they are held securely in the groove 7. In addition, the edge region of the lenses 4 may be provided with grooves 29, which in each case come to rest between the profiles 12 during insertion and, as it were, dig into them.
In Fig. 16, an embodiment is shown with magnetic strip. In the example shown, a magnetic strip 13 is attached to one of the two wings 16 of the groove 7, for example by laminating. As a counterpart to this magnetic strip 13, a metal strip 14 in the upper edge region of the spectacle lens 4 is attached to this or this edge region has a metal layer which is vapor-deposited. The spectacle lens 4 can then be inserted as shown from below into the groove 7 and there is a magnetic adhesion. This allows the front wing 15 of the groove 7 to be made much shorter, as shown in the picture.
In Fig. 17, a variant with magnetic strip is shown, in which the magnetic strip 13 is mounted on the bottom of the groove 7. At the upper edge of the spectacle lens 4, a metal strip 14 is then attached or a metal layer is vapor-deposited, and so the spectacle lens 4 can be inserted into the groove 7 and is held securely therein by the magnetic adhesion.
The variants shown allow a variety of designs in terms of material and shape of the spectacle frame, from "cheap" plastic to wood, horn and precious metals and many other materials. The imagination knows no bounds. The decisive feature is merely that the middle part 2 of the spectacle frame must have a downwardly directed, open groove 7. This can be curved in the transverse direction, in order to be adapted to a curvature of the spectacle lenses, or even transversely to this curvature, that is, for example, seen from the front of the spectacle frame, the sections 3, which receive the glasses 4, run bridge-shaped, or also curved in the opposite direction, depending on the design. Therefore, the material must therefore be suitable for such a groove of for example 1mm to 3mm clear width and 2mm to 5mm depth can cut into the material, or that you inject the middle part 2 with such a groove 7 of a casting or can pour. If the lenses 4 have an edge that varies in thickness, so can be tracked with rubber elastic inserts in a straight groove 7, this curvature.
Basically, this eyewear design opens the possibility to create eyewear as accessories in many possible shapes, materials and colors, and thereby use the same lenses interchangeably, depending on your mood and the personal taste of the wearer. This gives the glasses a completely new function, firstly in technical terms, but also as a product in and of itself. Technically, it is advantageous that such a spectacle frame is quickly and easily adaptable to the visual impairment of the wearer. All you have to do is insert the lenses that have been cut to your specifications without any tools - that's it. For a specific spectacle frame, different sets of spectacle lenses may also be offered for a wearer, for example as sunglasses glasses, or as such, which darken automatically when the brightness increases, as is known, or else glasses in any desired colorations. Or, general-purpose progressive lenses may be used as a compromise solution, or glasses may be used which are only for long-range vision, and if desired, the wearer of the glasses simply inserts the reading glasses and supplies the vision glasses in a case, depending on the situation and needs. Replacement is quick and safe, if possible without tools. If, over time, a single eye of a spectacle wearer becomes weaker, the corresponding spectacle lens for that eye can be replaced by a better adapted spectacle lens, or it can be the glasses in the simplest way over time, if a new adjustment is necessary and be replaced. The spectacle frame can continue to serve. This is also true in the event that a glass should be damaged, scratched or broken.
Dieses kann je nach Geschmack und Laune des Brillenträgers sehr variabel gestaltet und eingesetzt werden, zum Unterstreichen der Persönlichkeit des Brillenträgers, oderThese glasses also opens up unprecedented opportunities, because it creates a new product as such, namely by these glasses is not just a visual aid due to their technical design, not just a beautiful to the wearer and his face adapted only visual aid, but very also accentuates a fashion accessory or personal, situationally customizable personal lifestyle product. This can be designed and used very variably depending on the taste and mood of the spectacle wearer, to underline the personality of the spectacle wearer, or
