Description
The present invention relates to the field of watchmaking and more particularly to a motor member of a watch movement.
In a mechanical watch movement, the motor member is the member that provides energy to the rest of the movement to rotate the wheel. The drive member is generally in the form of a barrel having a barrel drum, a spiral motor spring or "barrel spring" housed in the barrel drum, a barrel shaft and a barrel lid. The barrel drum pivots around the barrel shaft and has a toothing at its periphery which cooperates with the gear train to drive it. The inner end of the mainspring is attached to the barrel shaft which is secured to a ratchet driven by the winding stem of the watch (in the case of a hand-wound watch) or by its oscillating weight (in the case of a self-winding watch). The outer end of the motor spring is attached to the inner circumferential surface of the barrel drum via a flange which can be fixed or slidable. A rotation of the ratchet by the winding stem or the oscillating mass rotates the barrel shaft, which tends the motor spring and thus allows it to accumulate energy. The motor spring then progressively restores this energy during its relaxation by rotating the barrel drum.
There are watch movements with several barrels mounted in series to increase the power reserve of the movement, that is to say the time during which it can operate between two pumping. Examples of such an arrangement are found in the patents or patent applications EP 1 115 040, CH 693 516, FR 1 195 976 and CH 599 580. The arrangements described in these documents all have the disadvantage of being cumbersome and complicated.
[0004] WO 2 010 061 251 aims to provide a motor for watch movement which comprises superimposed motor springs mounted in series and which can be relatively simple and compact. To this end, WO 2 010 061 251 discloses a motor for watch movement comprising an axis, a drum and a rotatable member mounted on the axis, movable in rotation relative to each other and each comprising a toothing. their periphery, and first and second superimposed spiral springs whose outer ends are respectively fixed to the drum and to the rotary member and whose inner ends are interconnected to connect the springs in series. The drum and the rotatable member are interlocked at least in the region of the peripheral wall of the drum so as to together form a closed box containing the springs.
There are also watch movements with two barrels mounted in parallel to have more torque to achieve performance that is more optimal, (flatter curve and impact of energy needs less punctual than a traditional barrel) ). This particular arrangement of barrels has the disadvantage of being bulky and complicated.
The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a motor for watch movement which is able to provide a significant torque while being simple and compact.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by means of a motor member for a barrel-type watch movement comprising a barrel shaft, a barrel drum having on the whole of its periphery a toothing, at least one cover of barrel, and a first and a second barrel spring superimposed and nested inside the barrel drum. The outer and inner ends of each barrel spring are attached respectively to the barrel drum and the barrel shaft. The winding direction of the first and second mainsprings inside the barrel drum is identical in order to increase the torque available at the barrel outlet.
The characteristics of the invention will appear more clearly on reading a description of a preferred embodiment, given solely by way of example, in no way limiting with reference to the schematic figures, in which: <tb> Fig. 1 <SEP> represents an exploded view of the driving member of a watch movement according to the invention, and <tb> Fig. 2 <SEP> represents a sectional and perspective view of the assembled motor unit.
According to the preferred embodiment of the invention, the barrel type drive member comprises, according to FIG. 1, a barrel shaft 10 to be pivotally mounted between bridge and platinum, a barrel drum 11 arranged to pivot relative to the barrel shaft 10 and a first and a second barrel spring 12, 13 confined to the interior of a first or a second housing 12, 13 located in the barrel drum 11.
Each housing 12, 13 is delimited by a disk 14, which is connected to the inner circumference of the barrel drum 11 (FIG 2) and is arranged so as to be in a plane lying midway height of the drum 11, by the inner wall of the drum 11 as well as by a first, respectively a second barrel lid 15, 16 which are arranged on either side of the barrel drum 11 to close each housing 12, 13 comprising both barrel springs 12, 13. The first and second barrel springs 12, 13 are arranged on either side of the disk 14 so that their respective winding direction be identical. The outer end of each barrel spring 12, 13 is fixed to the inner peripheral surface of the barrel drum 11 by means of a flange (not visible) which can be fixed or sliding while their respective inner end is fixed. to the barrel shaft 10 by means of a hook 17, 18. This particular arrangement of two barrel springs in parallel increases the torque that can be generated by the barrel.
In a variant, not shown, the disc 14 is replaced by a floating washer to be able to stack inside the barrel drum successively one of the two barrel springs, the floating washer, and the other of two barrel springs. According to this variant, the barrel has only one lid and a bottom forming an integral part of the barrel drum.
In particular in the light of FIG. 2, the barrel has a toothing 19 which is arranged on the outer circumference of the barrel drum 11 at its middle portion, the toothing 19 being configured so that its height is about half the height of the drum barrel.
