The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing such parts.
Etat de la techniqueState of the art
Parts of this type, comprising a metal element, such as a time setting ring, are for example described in patent CH 699 145. The crown is covered at least partially with an elastomeric coating, an intermediate layer of a bonding agent being applied between the metal substrate of the ring and the layer forming the elastomeric coating.
This method providing for the application of an intermediate layer can be expensive and complex to implement.
An object of the present invention is therefore to overcome these disadvantages, by proposing a new method for producing timepieces comprising a metal element coated with an elastomer from a monolayer formulation, that is, to say unique.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a method for more specifically to produce timepieces comprising a metal element comprising an elastomeric coating having an original aesthetic appearance and touch.
