Abstract

Preferably, the football training device comprises four or eight such contact sensors. The contact sensors are preferably radio-controlled and can be connected to the measuring module wirelessly or by means of cables. Likewise, each contact sensor is provided with a radio channel. A random generator generates the start signal.

An analysis of the dynamics and the time required by athletic movements requires measuring equipment that is tailored to the particular sport. Available on the market, universal gauges are available for the specific requirements e.g. not applicable for football goalkeeper, so that specific measuring means and evaluation methods are necessary, e.g. training-accompanying measurements with immediate information. So far, the movements of a goalkeeper are little studied and therefore of interest to the coach.

With only one training device, the responsiveness of a goalkeeper as well as the accuracy of shooting a field player can be trained and electronically recorded and evaluated. This allows statistical evaluations and the creation of targeted training plans.

Determinable are, for example, possibly differences between goalkeepers, between players between left and right side, reaction times for decisions to be made, deviations between hand and foot reaction, time dependence of movement types. The time measurement can be done with an accuracy of up to approx. 0.001s.

An inventive football training device comprises a goal wall 1 with a goal frame 5 and an electronic carpet 9 as a rear wall (Fig. 1). In each corner of the goal frame one to two contact sensors 2 are arranged, which are movable horizontally and vertically by means of linear guide 6 on the door frame 5. The linear guides 6 have micro-switches 8 (with transmitter and damper) for measuring the travel path. Each contact sensor 2 has a movable ball 7, which triggers an electrical signal when touched by hand or foot or a real ball with the electronic carpet 9 (eg, with contacts at a distance of 10-20 cm), via the radio channel is transmitted to a measuring module 3. The measuring module 3 uses suitable software to determine the direction of movement of the football or of a corresponding optical signal or of a goalkeeper as well as the reaction time of a goalkeeper (or field player). These data can be processed and evaluated and based on specific training plans.

The start signal for the ball shot or a corresponding optical signal provides a random number generator 4, which is also connected via radio channel with the contact sensors 2 or a ball-shooting device 13.

The transmission of signals is carried out with high accuracy by a special circuit. The triggering pulse takes place by means of random generator 4 for respective LED. A timer is running and a stop pulse is transmitted through the sensor via wireless technology. The triggering occurs indirectly.
