Abstract

The accessory has two articulated elements (1, 2) articulated between an opening position and a closed position in which the elements cover a jewelry piece i.e. solitaire ring (9). Free ends (5, 6) of the elements are provided with closing units that cooperate with each other to maintain the elements in the closed position. The free ends of each element is formed with a cut (12) that makes a portion of the jewelry piece to be visible after the jewelry piece is inserted in the accessory and the elements in the closed position. The closing units are constituted of a tab (7) and a recess (8).
