[0001] The present invention relates to the field of watchmaking, and, more particularly, its technical field relating to safety clasps for wristwatch bracelets as described in the preamble to claim 1.
[0002] The bracelets usually consist of two segments, in particular straps or articulated elements, connected to the case of a wristwatch, between which a folding safety clip is interposed composed of two sheets hinged to each other and a plaque of cover, also called cover, mounted adjacent to each other on the extension of the other.
[0003] The technical problem that occurs in the application and use of a safety clip of the aforementioned type is precisely its opening and closing. In the closed position the two laminae, facing when the clip is open, are superimposed and by means of a fixing means the laminae are closed, one superimposed on the other, in a reversible manner, so that by operating a suitable means, such as a button for example , the plates are disengaged by a constraint, which is usually mechanical and can thus be deployed in a rotation around the axis of the hinge.
[0004] As an example of the state of the art we can mention the clip described by EP-0 914 781, said document describes a folding bracelet clip, in particular as a component of a wrist watch, with a clip closing device comprising a foil base, rigid, on which at its end a second lamina is hinged, able to rotate around the axis of the hinge, in the form of a fork, with two arms adapted to be elastically deformed, in a reversible way, by a pressure on two buttons placed on the opposite end of the foil adapted to allow the grafting of the fork blade on the rigid base plate. It has been noted that the closure of this type of clip after a certain number of opening and closing cycles is loosened.
[0005] To avoid this disadvantage, the inventor of the safety clip described in the present application has improved the existing clip by devising an aesthetically pleasing and simple to implement solution which, thanks to the components used and their arrangement, allows the execution of the opening and closing immediately with a single operation, without the closure being loosened over time.
[0006] The object of the present invention is therefore constituted by an improved safety clip with respect to the state of the art as described in the attached claim 1.
[0007] The invention will now be better clarified with reference to the attached drawings which schematically illustrate a preferred embodiment given only by way of non-limiting example since technical or constructional variations may always be made without departing from the scope of the present invention .
fig. 1 represents the preferential form of the invention in an axonometric exploded view with its component laminae (1, 2) and the two flexible pins of which the hinge (3, 4) is provided.
fig. 2 represents a second embodiment in an exploded axonometric view in which the flexible lamina (2) is fork-shaped composed of two arms (2a, 2b) positioned adjacent to the chassis (1) but on the sides of the same, said executive form is provided with a single pin (5).
[0008] Let us now consider fig. 1: in it the two hinged plates (1, 2) can be seen at one end, said hinge comprises two flexible pins (3, 4), in particular with a harmonic wire core, acts if mechanically stressed to flex elastically; reversible.
[0009] It can be noted that the upper lamina is provided at the end opposite to the hinge of two projections (6, 7), said projections act as buttons for, by mechanical stress, disengagement of the upper lamina (2) from the base lamina ( 1), also called chassis. The coupling, i.e. the overlapping of the laminae (1, 2), takes place through the engagement of the toothed elements (8, 9) of which the upper lamina is provided, to the respective cavities (10, 11) of which the chassis is provided (1) at the toothed elements (8, 9).
[0010] In fig. 2 shows a second embodiment of the safety clip object of the invention, which provides a flexible lamina (2) hinged to the chassis (1) composed of two arms (6, 7) positioned adjacent to said chassis (1) but on its sides. Said variant embodiment provides an identical engagement and disengagement system of the two laminae (1, 2) as the shape shown in fig. 1.
[0011] It should be noted that the heart of the invention lies in the use of one or more pins adapted to deform elastically in order to allow the arms to be removed, of which a lamina is composed in order to engage and disengage the laminae between of them by means of a toothed element that places a cavity fixing itself reversibly. The pin or pins are formed in the preferred embodiment by a harmonic wire.
