<tb>Fig. 1<sep>eine Installationsdose in Schrägansicht;
<tb>Fig. 2<sep>eine Einzelheit im Schnitt gesehen;
The invention relates to an installation box for electrical purposes, in particular installation box or cavity wall box, with a can body made of a first material, in particular plastic, wherein the can body in the shell, in the bottom and / or in a transition region between shell and bottom has a design, which allows the insertion of conduits, cables or the like lines.
In the prior art it is known to manufacture such installation boxes made of plastic sprayable, in particular relatively hard set thermoplastic material. Previously common installation boxes of this type have, for example in the ground or in the transition region between the bottom and the shell circular breakable wall parts, which are integrally formed on the can material. These wall parts limit areas that are suitable and intended for the insertion of cables, pipes or conduits. Basically, such installation boxes are well suited for installation purposes. During installation, the installer must use a tool to eject wall sections in the area of the through openings to be created in order to be able to insert the cables, lines or conduits into the corresponding perforated space.
The perforations are closely adapted to the cable sheath or the empty tube, so that a largely airtight arrangement of inserted cables or the like is possible and also a strain relief is achieved.
In handling, it is considered a comfort disadvantage that it is necessary to eject the corresponding wall parts with relatively large force.
Based on this prior art, the present invention seeks to provide an installation box generic type in which a largely airtight, moisture-proof and dust-tight arrangement of cables, conduits or conduits is made possible, a strain relief is achieved and the ease of use is improved.
To solve this problem, the invention proposes that the design is formed by at least one perforation, the diameter of the durchzusteckenden empty tube, cable or the like is closely adapted and that at least the perforation by a layer of compared to the first material softer material , In particular plastic material is closed, which is pierceable by the empty pipe or cable durchzusteck.
According to the invention, the installation box is provided in the corresponding push-through area for cables, conduits or pipes with a perforation whose diameter is closely adapted to the element durchzusteckenden. So that this perforation is opened only in case of use, that is, when a corresponding cable or the like is inserted through this perforation, the perforation is closed with a layer of softer compared to the first material, in particular compared to the first material softer plastic material, the can be punctured by the empty tube or the corresponding cable or cable to be passed through.
In this way, the ease of use is improved, since the corresponding hole is now pierced with less effort with the cable or the like, which also through the layer of compared to the first material softer material an even better sealing of the cable sheath or the pipe jacket against air passage or Moisture penetration is achieved.
A particularly preferred development is seen in the fact that the design is formed by a plurality of perforations, which preferably have different diameters in adaptation to different diameters of durchzusteckenden cables / tubes or the like and each softened by a layer of compared to the first material Plastic material are closed.
The perforations may be sized to match the usual cable or the like, so that it is possible for the user to use depending on the cable or pipe dimension the corresponding hole for installation.
A particularly preferred development is seen in the fact that the perforation or perforations has a chisel-like hole reveal or have.
Such a cutting-like design of the hole reveal causes a particularly good strain relief is achieved when a line, a cable or a pipe is inserted through the corresponding matching hole.
Particularly preferably it is also provided that the wall of the installation box is funnel-shaped in the region of the perforation of the box outer to the inside of the can, wherein preferably the can interior end of the funnel is formed a cutting or blocking edge forming.
On the one hand is formed by this funnel-like training an insertion when inserting the cable, the line or the empty tube. On the other hand, a simple shaping of a cutting or blocking edge at the inner end of the funnel is made possible by the funnel-like design, which in turn is particularly advantageous for the strain relief.
A preferred development is seen in the fact that the entire bottom of the installation box and the transition region between the bottom and the jacket is covered by a layer of soft plastic.
But at least it is provided that the inner surface of the funnel shape and the perforation is covered by a layer of soft plastic.
This design ensures that in the push-through region of the corresponding cable or tube, the layer of softer plastic compared to the first material, which closes the corresponding hole is not folded down and can not fulfill any other sealing function, but the puncture forms in the Compared to the first material softer layer quasi a cuff around the piercing element, so the cable, the pipe or the empty pipe, so that a particularly excellent seal is achieved.
To facilitate the insertion, it can be provided that the layer of compared to the first material softer plastic to the center of the respective hole down decreasing layer thickness has.
Preferably, it is also provided that the installation box is formed with the layer of softer plastic compared to the first material as Mehrkomponentenspritzteil.
The corresponding installation box can be injection molded in a simple manner in a two-component tool. Preferred materials are given in claims 9 and 10.
An embodiment of the invention is illustrated in the drawing and described in more detail below. It shows:
<Tb> FIG. 1 <sep> an installation box in an oblique view;
<Tb> FIG. 2 <sep> a detail seen on average;
<Tb> FIG. 3 <sep> a detail of Fig. 2in enlarged view.
In the drawing, an installation box 1 is shown for electrical purposes. For example, it may be a hollow wall box for electrical hollow wall installations.
The can body 1 consists of a first material, in particular plastic, wherein the can body 1 in the embodiment in a transition region between the shell and the bottom has a design that allows the insertion of conduits, cables or cables 2.
This design is formed by a perforation 3, whose diameter is closely adapted to the diameter of the cable 2 to be passed through. The perforation is closed before installation by a layer 4 of softer compared to the first material, in particular elastic plastic material. This layer 4 can be pierced by the element to be connected, for example by the cable 2.
As can be seen in particular from the illustration according to FIG. 1, the corresponding can body may have a plurality of perforations 3, which are covered by corresponding layers 4. Preferably, these holes have pairs or three times different diameters to adapt to different cable diameters, with larger holes are possible to plug in large conduits and connect.
As can be seen in particular from the enlarged view in Fig. 3, the perforations 3 on a slit-like hole reveal 5, wherein also the wall 6 of the installation box 1 in the region of the perforation 3 is formed like a funnel from the can outer to the inside of the can. The inner end of the funnel formed in this way forms the cutting or blocking edge.
In the exemplary embodiment, the entire bottom of the installation box 1 and the transition region from the can bottom to the can jacket is coated by a layer 7 of soft material, wherein the corresponding layer 4 is part of this layer 7.
The inventive design allows comfortable installation of cables, cables or the like in the installation box 1, with a strain relief and an excellent seal against dust, moisture and air in the push-through area is achieved.
The invention is not limited to the embodiment, but in the context of the disclosure and the claims often variable.
