The invention relates to a lamp with a lamp body.
With the invention, a novel lamp is to be created, which can be set up outdoors, has a long burning time, which can serve as emergency lighting or also fulfills decorative purposes.
The invention is characterized in that a filled with a fire gel box is used at a distance in the central opening of the lamp body to form an air circulation channel, wherein a cover located above the can and the air circulation channel lid is present below which a mixing chamber is formed .
that the lid is associated with a central combustion opening and that air supply openings in the lid and / or in the side wall of the lamp body are providable.
With this lamp assembly can be achieved in particular over conventional oil lamps with a wick a larger flame, while a long-lasting approximately russfreie flame can be achieved with a can filling.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the subject invention is shown. It shows:
<Tb> FIG. 1 <sep> a longitudinal section through the Feuergel lamp in a simplified representation,
<Tb> FIG. 2 <sep> a plan view of the lid with its openings.
The lamp has a lamp body, which may for example consist of concrete, steel, wood or glass. In this lamp body 1 filled with a fire gel can 2 is used. The can content is a commercial fire gel 3, which gives off alcohol. Between the central annular opening of the lamp body 1 and the outer diameter of the box 2 there is an annular air circulation channel 5. The dimensions are chosen so that the difference of the can diameter to the diameter of the lamp body opening is at least approximately 1/5 of the can diameter. On the bottom of the lamp body 1 is a supply opening 6 for fresh air, which is in flow communication with the air circulation channel 5.
This also ensures cooling of the can 2, so that it does not overheat over time.
On the top of a can 2 overlapping lid 7 is present, which also closes the air circulation channel 5. The material of the lid 7 is preferably stainless steel. The lid 7 has a plurality of openings communicating with the outside air. It is preferably a plurality of semicircular, open-edged openings 8, the total opening area is greater than the central combustion opening 9 in the lid 7. Through experiments it has been found that five open-edged openings 8 with a diameter of 28-36 mm and a central firing opening of about 40-50 mm particularly good results can be achieved.
On the underside of the cover 7, a combustion chamber 10 is formed, in which the gases emitted by the Feuergel 3 mix with the air to form a combustible gas, whereby a flame is produced, which causes almost no soot emissions. By a match or the like, this gas can be ignited.
In order to regulate the air supply through the open-edged openings, it is possible to provide these openings 8 or the combustion opening 9 with individually or jointly displaceable flaps (not shown).
The air supply openings 8 may be formed instead of those in the lid and / or additionally in the side wall, advantageously in the upper part of the lamp body.
The feed opening (s) in the air circulation channel 5 could also be formed from below in the side wall.
Advantageously, a chamber 15 is formed for an air cushion in the lower part of the lamp body 1 so that it does not lead to overheating there. In addition, a part of the air is passed from above into the can, so that a balance of the volume of the solid located in the can to the liquid paste portion takes place.
Such a lamp according to the invention is also suitable for smaller Cheminées, in which instead of wood preferably several lamps are used.
