The invention relates to a connecting device for connecting an end portion of a corrugated tube and, arranged around the corrugated tube, Abschirmschlauches, in which electrical lines are guided, with a mounting fitting, which has a ground terminal and a passage for the electrical lines.
Electrical conductors or lines, which must be protected from electromagnetic interference or interference from the outside, are surrounded in a known manner with an electrically conductive, usually metallic sheath, which is grounded. This jacket forms a shielding hose. In arrangements with moving lines, e.g. In vehicle construction, the cables with the shielding hose are additionally routed in a flexible corrugated pipe.
When transferring the cables into an electrical appliance or into a control unit, the shielding jacket must be earthed and properly connected to a mounting fixture. Such a solution is known for example from US 6 053 749. In this solution, electrical cables and screening are performed in a corrugated tube and are connected by means of a mounting bracket to a motor housing. Within the attachment fitting, means are provided to connect the shielding tube to a grounding terminal. The corresponding fastening fitting and connecting device is relatively complicated and the connection of a corresponding corrugated tube with electrical lines with a shielding consuming.
The known connecting devices and fastening fittings can not be used for arrangements in which electrical lines are guided and protected in a corrugated pipe and a shielding hose outside the corrugated pipe, or around the corrugated tube around, is arranged.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a connecting means for an end portion of a corrugated tube and an end portion of a corrugated tube arranged Abschirmschlauches with a mounting fixture.
This connecting device should be combined with differently shaped mounting fittings and ensure a simple and secure connection on the one hand between the corrugated pipe and the mounting bracket and on the other hand between the shielding hose and the mounting bracket.
This object is solved by the features defined in claim 1. Advantageous developments of the invention will become apparent after the features of the dependent claims.
In the inventive connecting device, the fastening fitting has a connecting flange, on which a cylindrical sleeve is arranged on the side directed against the end region of the corrugated pipe and the shielding hose. Through the connecting flange and the sleeve extends a passage for electrical lines.
On the sleeve at least two longitudinal slots are arranged at the front end, which divides the sleeve into a plurality of resilient segments. This arrangement has the advantage that, on the one hand, an end region of the corrugated tube within the sleeve and an end region of the shielding tube arranged around the corrugated tube can be received outside the sleeve. This allows the arrangement of fastening or retaining means for both the corrugated pipe and the shielding hose. The arrangement of inwardly directed cams in the slotted region of the sleeve forms a locking element for the corrugated pipe in that the inwardly directed cams engage in recesses on the casing of the corrugated pipe.
An arranged on the outside of the sleeve annular rib provides the advantage that on the one hand the shielding tube pushed over and on the other hand around the sleeve and the shielding tube arranged clamping rings are not deducted from the sleeve at tensile loads of the shielding. The arranged around the sleeve and the end of the Abschirmschlauches clamping ring has the additional advantage that after the positive and positive mounting around the sleeve, the resilient segments are pressed against the jacket of the corrugated tube at the end of the sleeve and can not be expanded. The arrangement of a ring groove in the transition region between the connecting flange and the sleeve provides the advantage that the end of the shielding tube can be inserted into this annular groove and held therein.
As a result, a clean cover of the end of the shielding tube is ensured and it can not individual wires of the metal fabric, from which the shielding example, is formed protrude. The arrangement of a fastener for a ground terminal on the connecting flange ensures a secure grounding of the mounting fixture, which consists of an electrically conductive material and the shielding hose connected to the attachment fitting. The inventive arrangement of the connecting flange on the side facing away from the corrugated tube end side of the mounting fitting allows easy adaptation to different connection possibilities between the mounting bracket and a possible housing.
Advantageously, in this case, the connecting flange on the outer shell on a bearing surface, around which a mounting bracket can be placed, by means of which the mounting bracket attached to a housing, for example, can be screwed in a conventional manner. A further advantageous solution is that a screw socket is arranged on the side facing away from the sleeve side of the connecting flange, by means of which the fastening fitting can be screwed to a housing wall.
But it may also be advantageous to arrange a mounting bracket on the connecting flange and to connect the mounting bracket by means of this mounting bracket in a manner also known per se with a housing wall.
The inventive connecting device is simple and forms a secure solution for connecting an end portion of a corrugated tube and an end portion of a corrugated tube arranged Abschirmschlauches with a mounting fixture or a housing of an electrical device or other device. The connection can be assembled in a simple manner and can also be dismantled again.
In the following the invention will be explained in more detail by means of embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Show it:
<Tb> FIG. 1 <sep> an inventive connecting device in a partial longitudinal section,
<Tb> FIG. 2 <sep> is a perspective view of the connecting device according to FIG. 1 before assembly,
<Tb> FIG. 3 <sep> a connecting device according to FIG. 1, wherein the connecting flange cooperates with a mounting bracket and
<Tb> FIG. 4 <sep> a connecting device according to FIG. 1 with a screw socket.
The connecting device shown in Fig. 1 shows a mounting fitting 3, which is equipped with a connecting flange 6 and a mounting bracket 22. By means of this mounting bracket 22, the mounting bracket 3 by means of screws 23 can be attached to a housing, not shown, or a mounting plate. The mounting fitting 3 has a passage 4, in which an end portion 7 of a corrugated pipe 1 is inserted. At the directed against the corrugated tube 1 side of the connecting flange 6, the mounting fitting 3 a sleeve 9, which encloses the end portion 7 of the corrugated tube 1. To the outer shell of the corrugated tube 1, a shielding tube 2 is arranged, which consists in a known manner, for example, a metal mesh.
The end portion 8 of this shielding hose 2 is pushed over the sleeve 9. At the connecting flange 6, a ring groove 17 is arranged in the transition region to the sleeve 9, which receives the end 18 of the shielding hose 2. By this arrangement, the end 18 of the shielding hose 2 is protected and the metal mesh can not be torn open.
In addition, this arrangement protects against injury due to protruding wires of the metal braid of the shielding second
At the front end 10 of the sleeve 9 at least two longitudinal slots 11 are arranged, in the present example, four slots 11. As can be seen from Fig. 2, these longitudinal slots 11 extend over a portion of the sleeve 9 and divide the sleeve 9 in several resilient segments 12.
In the region of the longitudinal slots 11, therefore, the diameter of the sleeve 10 can be both expanded and narrowed, since the resilient segments are movable.
In Fig. 2, the connecting device is shown as presented before assembly. The end portion 7 of the corrugated tube 1 is inserted during assembly in the direction of arrow 24 in the passage 4 of the sleeve 9 until it abuts a shoulder 25. On the inside of the sleeve 9 12 inwardly directed cam 13 are arranged in the areas of the resilient segments. In the example shown, it is an inwardly directed annular rib. These cams 13 engage in the depressions 14 on the casing of the corrugated tube 1 and serve as strain reliefs. On the outside of the sleeve 9, a further annular rib 15 is disposed in the regions of the front end 10.
The shielding tube 2 is pushed during assembly of the connecting device via this annular rib 15 and the outer shell of the sleeve 10 until the end 18 is located in the annular groove 17. Subsequently, at least one clamping ring 16, e.g. a per se known hose clip, as shown in Fig. 2 open, created and closed. Thus, as shown in Fig. 1, on the one hand, the end portion 8 of the Abschirmschlauches 2 pressed against the outer shell of the sleeve 9 and on the other hand pressed the front end 10 of the sleeve 9 with the resilient segments 12 against the outer surface of the corrugated tube 1. As a result, the corrugated tube 1 is held on the cam 13 in the sleeve 9 and it forms an effective strain relief.
In the example shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, two clamping rings 16 are provided to ensure additional security against the removal of the shielding hose 2 from the sleeve 10. At the connecting flange 6, a ground terminal 5 is arranged, which consists of a screw connection in the example shown. This ground terminal 5 ensures a safe dissipation of any interference even if the connection via the mounting bracket 22 is not electrically conductive well. In order to ensure the discharge of interference currents properly, the mounting fitting 3 is made of an electrically conductive material, such as aluminum. The inventive connecting device shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 can be assembled in a simple manner and, if necessary, dismantle again.
Nevertheless, it has a simple construction and forms a secure connection between the shielding hose 2 and the earth connection 5. The protective function and flexibility of the corrugated pipe 1 is fully guaranteed and not limited.
Fig. 3 shows a further embodiment of the mounting bracket 3, wherein only the connecting flange 6 is designed differently. All other elements are identical, as described and illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2. The connecting flange 6 has an additional cylindrical part with an outer bearing surface 19.
To this support surface 19, a mounting bracket 20 is placed, which has mounting bracket 26. About this mounting bracket 26, for example by means of a screw attachment of the mounting bracket 3 to a housing, not shown, or on a support plate possible.
Fig. 4 shows another embodiment with a different configuration of the connecting flange 6. In this embodiment, the connecting flange 6 is formed with a screw 21. All other elements of the connection device also correspond to the example according to FIGS. 1 and 2 in this embodiment and are described accordingly there.
This embodiment with a screw socket 21 allows the direct screwing of the mounting bracket 3 in a housing or a mounting plate or a clamping connection with a corresponding nut 27th
The inventive connecting device can, as can be seen from the examples according to FIGS. 1, 3 and 4, in a simple manner to adapt to different requirements in the connection with housings or machines. These adjustments are possible by changing only the connecting flange 6 and maintaining all other elements of the connecting device unchanged. As a result, in all embodiments, the simple structure and ensuring the secure connection between corrugated tube 1 and shielding 2 on the one hand and mounting bracket 3 on the other hand be ensured.
Also, the electrical connection between the end portion 8 of the shielding 2 and the ground terminal 5 remains unchanged.
