[0001] Die Erfindung betrifft eine flexible Scheibe für eine Poliermaschine nach dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1.
[0002] Zur Reinigung von glatten Oberflächen wie Steinböden, insbesondere Marmor-, Travertin- und Granitböden, oder Parkettböden wird die Unterlage abgeschliffen, gereinigt und anschliessend mit einer Poliermaschine mit einer austauschbaren, flexiblen Polierscheibe auf Hochglanz poliert. Eine solche Poliermaschine ist beispielsweise unter dem Handelsnamen "Taski" erhältlich. Die flexible Polierscheibe besteht normalerweise aus einem Filz von gekräuseltem Kunststoff. Da die Poren der Polierscheiben nach einer gewissen Zeit verstopft sind, müssen die Scheiben regelmässig ausgetauscht werden, was ein relativ hoher Aufwand an Material bedingt.
Einerseits muss man dafür sorgen, dass genügend Scheiben an einen Arbeitsort mitgenommen werden und andererseits muss man die Scheiben nach Gebrauch wieder entsorgen.
[0003] Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt nun die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine flexible Scheibe für eine Poliermaschine anzugeben, die einfacher zu handhaben ist.
[0004] Diese Aufgabe wird durch eine Scheibe für eine Poliermaschine mit den Merkmalen des Patentanspruchs 1 gelöst.
[0005] Die Erfindung hat den grossen Vorteil, dass weniger Material benötigt wird und der Austausch von den Überzügen über die Scheibe sehr schnell erfolgen kann. Damit wird enorm viel Zeit beim Polieren von Böden gespart.
Ausserdem können die Überzüge mindestens 20- bis 30-mal verwendet werden, indem sie nach Gebrauch gewaschen werden.
[0006] Weitere Vorteile der Erfindung folgen aus den abhängigen Patentansprüchen und aus der nachfolgenden Beschreibung, in welcher die Erfindung anhand eines in den schematischen Zeichnungen dargestellten Ausführungsbeispieles näher erläutert wird. Es zeigt:

[0007] In Fig. 1 ist eine handelsübliche als Einscheibenmaschine bekannte Poliermaschine 1 der Marke "Taski" gezeigt, die eine flexible als Ringscheibe ausgebildete Polierscheibe 2, die aus einem Filz aus gekräuseltem Kunststoff besteht, mit einem textilen Überzug 3 und einen Drehteller 4 aufweist. Der Drehteller 4 ist unten mit mehreren - hier nicht ersichtlichen - Ringen aus Nadeln versehen, um die Polierscheibe 2 festzuhalten. Der Überzug 3 ist ebenfalls als Kreisscheibe 5 mit einem zurückgeschlagenen Randbereich 6 ausgebildet. Die Kreisscheibe 5 weist in etwa denselben Durchmesser wie die flexible Polierscheibe 2 auf. Am inneren Rand 7 des Randbereiches 6 ist ein Gummizug vorgesehen, so dass der Überzug 3 relativ straff über die Polierscheibe 2 gespannt ist.
Der Überzug 3 ist dabei aus einem relativ elastischen textilen Gewebe wie Frottiergewebe aus Baumwolle hergestellt. Selbstverständlich können auch andere textile Materialien mit elastischen und saugfähigen Eigenschaften verwendet werden, wie Frottiergewebe aus einem Gemisch von Baumwolle und Kunstfasern oder aus Mikrofasern.
[0008] In Fig. 2 sind die flexible Polierscheibe 2 mit dem textilen Überzug 3 und der Drehteller 4 im montierten Zustand gezeigt. Durch das hohe Gewicht der Poliermaschine 1 von etwa 50 kg wird der Drehteller 4 auf den Randbereich 6 des straff auf der Polierscheibe anliegenden Überzugs 3 gedrückt. Damit wird verhindert, dass der Überzug 3 bei der drehenden Bewegung der Polierscheibe 2 verrutschen kann. In der Regel werden Drehgeschwindigkeiten von 150 bis 800 U/min. erreicht.
Da der textile Überzug 3 ebenfalls wie die Polierscheibe 2 kreissymmetrisch ausgebildet ist, gibt es bei der Drehbewegung des Drehtellers 4 keine Unwucht der Poliermaschine 1 und lässt sich die Poliermaschine 1 sehr leicht über die glatte Oberfläche bewegen.
[0009] Fig. 3 zeigt die Poliermaschine 1 montiert mit der flexiblen Polierscheibe 2, dem Überzug 3 und den Drehteller 4. Ferner ist ein Behälter 8 mit einem Schlauch 9 ersichtlich, in welchem beispielsweise eine Polierflüssigkeit über das zentrale Loch der Polierscheibe 2 zugeführt werden kann.
[0010] Wenn der Überzug 3 einseitig verschmutzt ist, kann er umgedreht und somit ein zweites Mal verwendet werden. Anschliessend kann der Überzug 3 in einer normalen Waschmaschine gewaschen und viele Male wieder verwendet werden.
Somit braucht man zum Polieren nur noch eine einzige flexible Polierscheibe 2 mit einer Vielzahl von textilen Überzügen 3, was eine enorme Platz- und Zeitersparnis ergibt.

In Fig. 1, a commercially available known as single-disc polishing machine 1 of the brand "Taski" is shown having a flexible trained as an annular disc polishing pad 2, which consists of a felt made of crimped plastic, with a textile cover 3 and a turntable 4 , The turntable 4 is provided at the bottom with several - not visible here - rings of needles to hold the polishing pad 2. The cover 3 is also formed as a circular disk 5 with a folded-back edge region 6. The circular disc 5 has approximately the same diameter as the flexible polishing pad 2. At the inner edge 7 of the edge region 6, an elastic band is provided, so that the coating 3 is stretched relatively taut over the polishing pad 2.
The cover 3 is made of a relatively elastic textile fabric such as terry cloth made of cotton. Of course, other textile materials with elastic and absorbent properties can be used, such as terry cloth made of a mixture of cotton and synthetic fibers or microfibers.
In Fig. 2, the flexible polishing pad 2 with the textile cover 3 and the turntable 4 are shown in the assembled state. Due to the high weight of the polishing machine 1 of about 50 kg, the turntable 4 is pressed onto the edge region 6 of the tightly resting on the polishing pad 3. This prevents the coating 3 from slipping during the rotary movement of the polishing pad 2. As a rule, rotational speeds of 150 to 800 U / min. reached.
Since the textile cover 3 is also circularly symmetrical, like the polishing pad 2, there is no unbalance of the polishing machine 1 during the rotary movement of the turntable 4, and the polishing machine 1 can be moved over the smooth surface very easily.
Fig. 3 shows the polishing machine 1 mounted with the flexible polishing pad 2, the cover 3 and the turntable 4. Further, a container 8 with a hose 9 can be seen, in which, for example, a polishing liquid through the central hole of the polishing pad 2 are supplied can.
If the cover 3 is dirty on one side, it can be reversed and thus used a second time. Subsequently, the cover 3 can be washed in a normal washing machine and reused many times.
Thus, only a single flexible polishing pad 2 with a variety of textile coverings 3 is required for polishing, which results in an enormous space and time savings.
