Fig. 3.6) und über den Gebinderand gestülpt (s. Fig. 3.7).
The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for inserting sacks into containers as defined in the preambles of independent claims 1 and 6, respectively.
The containers are, for example, barrels, cardboard boxes or sacks. When opened, the sacks to be inserted into the containers can have both a round and an angular cross section.
Until now, sacks have often been placed in containers by hand, especially if the bags are thick. Inserting a sack by hand only allows the sack to be pressed against the container inadequately, so that a relatively large amount of usable space, i.e. Space inside the sack is lost and is associated with a great deal of time and personnel.
Devices for inserting sacks into containers are also known which have a lifting column, means for holding a sack which are height-adjustably attached thereto and a shaped plate which is height-adjustable with respect to the means for holding a sack. To insert a sack into a container, a sack is attached to the means for holding a sack, these holding means including the sack are raised, a container is provided below the sack, the sack is inserted into the container, the sack is stretched by inserting the shaping plate and against the container pressed and the sack finally released from the holding means.
However, these devices and this method have the disadvantage that pressing the sack onto the container by means of the shaping plate leads to loss of usable space, since in practice it is hardly possible to match the size of the shaping plate exactly to the respective inside diameter of the container and the respective thickness to vote the sack.
In order to eliminate this disadvantage, devices have been developed whose mold plates are provided with nozzles. In these devices, the sack is stretched and pressed against the container by means of nozzle jets and no longer via direct contact between the mold plate and the sack. A disadvantage of these devices is that they are not suitable for inserting thick sacks, since the pressure of the nozzle jets is not sufficient for the sack to be pressed sufficiently against the container.
In view of the disadvantages of the previously known devices and methods for inserting bags into containers described above, the invention is based on the following object. A device and a method of the type mentioned at the outset are to be created which enable both thin and thick sacks to be quickly inserted into a container without unnecessarily losing useful space.
This object is achieved by the device and the method according to the invention, as defined in independent patent claims 1 and 6, respectively. Preferred design variants result from the dependent patent claims.
The essence of the invention with regard to the device is that in a device for inserting sacks into containers, which comprises a lifting column and a sack stretching device with means for holding a sack that is adjustably mounted thereon, the sack stretching device has means for producing a gas-tight seal that encompasses the inside of the sack Has space and means for introducing gas into the gas-tight room.
With regard to the method, the essence of the invention is that a sack is attached to the sack stretching device of such a device, the sack stretching device is raised with the sack, a container is provided underneath the sack, the sack is inserted into the container, a gas-tight space encompassing the inside of the sack generated, the sack is inflated by gas introduction into the gas-tight space and then suspended again and finally the sack stretching device is lifted out of the sack. In this case, the creation of a gas-tight closed space can take place anywhere between attaching the sack to the sack stretching device and inflating the sack.
The creation of a gas-tight closed space surrounding the inside of the bag enables the bag to be inflated, which ensures that the bag is optimally molded onto the container. By inflating, a thick sack can be pressed against the container in such a way that practically no usable space is lost - provided that the sack is matched to the container.
In comparison to manual sack insertion, the device and method according to the invention enable the sack to be inserted much more quickly with at least as good an integral part of the container. In addition, contamination of the sack can be largely prevented.
The sack stretching device preferably has a shaping plate attached to a holding rod, which can be adjusted in height with respect to the means for holding a sack and with which the sack is pre-stretched. The pre-stretching makes it easier to insert the sack into the container.
If necessary, the sack edge is gripped at the open end of the sack to hang the sack from the sack stretching device and slipped over the edge of the container. However, turning the edge of the sack inside out is not absolutely necessary.
The device according to the invention and the method according to the invention for inserting sacks into containers are described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings using an exemplary embodiment. Show it:
Figure 1 shows an inventive device for inserting bags in containers in a partially transparent representation from the front.
FIG. 2 shows the device from FIG. 1 in a partially transparent representation from the side;
3.1 to 3.7 the insertion of a sack into a container by means of the device of Fig. 1 and
4.1 to 4.4 the opening of a sack by means of a sack opening device in a plan view.
Figures 1 and 2
The illustrated device for inserting sacks into containers comprises a lifting column 1 designed as a square tube with a base 11. By means of a lifting rod 5 and a lifting carriage 50 connected to it and guided in the lifting column 1 with, for example, sixteen guide rollers 501, a sack stretching device 2 is adjustable in height on the Lifting column 1 attached. The height of the lifting carriage 50 is adjusted by means of a lifting spindle 3, which is driven by a lifting spindle motor 30.
The bag stretching device 2 comprises an inflation hose connector 21 which is fastened to the lifting rod 5 by means of a fastening rod 51. Around the lower end area of the inflation hose connector 21 there is an inflation hose 22, e.g. made of natural rubber, which is shown here in the unexpanded state and has, for example, two quick exhaust devices. A shaping plate 24 is fastened to a holding rod 23, which is attached to the lifting rod 5 in a height-adjustable manner via a connecting rod 25. The height adjustment of the mold plate 24 with respect to the inflation hose connector 21 and the inflation hose 22 is carried out by means of an electric motor 6.
The shaping plate 24 is provided with gas passages 240 and, like the holding rod 23, is hollow on the inside, so that gas, in particular air, can be introduced into a sack attached while the sack is being inserted via the holding rod 23 and the shaping plate 24. The gas passages 240 are advantageously designed as nozzles.
Inflatable hose connector 21, inflatable hose 22 and shaping plate 24 have a round or an angular cross section, depending on the container.
A container table 4 serves as a support surface for a container.
The following definition applies to the entire further description. If reference numerals are included in a figure for the sake of clarity in the drawing, but are not explained in the directly associated description text, reference is made to their mention in the previous description of the figures.
Figures 3.1 to 3.7
3.1 shows an opened sack 7 which is attached to the inflation hose 22 of the sack stretching device 2 of the device for inserting sacks into containers by hand or by means of an attachment device, as a result of which the situation according to FIG. 3.2 arises.
The inflation hose 22 is then inflated by supplying air, and in this way a space which is gas-tight and encloses the interior of the bag is produced. This space consists, on the one hand, of the inside of the sack and, on the other hand, of the inside of the inflation hose connector 21, which is closed at the top except for a holding rod 23 of the shaping plate 24. This achieves the situation according to Fig. 3.3.
3.4 shows the situation after the subsequent pre-stretching of the sack 7 by inserting the shaping plate 24.
By inserting the sack 7 into the container 8 and inflating the sack 7 by introducing gas into the gas-tight space via the gas passages 240 in the mold plate 24, the sack 7 is molded onto the container 8 and the situation according to FIG. 3.5 occurs.
Then the edge of the sack is gripped at the open end of the sack 7 by a slip device 26 (see FIG. 3.6) and placed over the edge of the container (see FIG. 3.7).
Figures 4.1 to 4.4
The sack 7 can be opened for subsequent attachment to the sack stretching device 2, for example by means of a sack opening device 9.
4.1 shows a flat, unopened sack 7 into which a sack opening device 9, here a round former, is inserted, so that the situation according to FIG. 4.2 arises. The bag opening device 9 comprises two small spring plates 92 and 94 and two large spring plates 91 and 93 in the illustrated embodiment.
To open the sack 7, the spring plates 91-94 according to FIG. 4.3 are pulled apart in the direction of the arrows A and B, bending until finally the end position shown in FIG. 4.4 is reached.
Further constructive variations can be implemented for the device described above for inserting bags into containers. Here are also explicitly mentioned:
- The height adjustments of the bag stretching device 2 and the shaping plate 24 can be made by means of any lifting and lowering devices.
- The support rod 23 can be provided with gas passages like the mold plate 24.
