Fig. 3 eine Draufsicht des Schnallenverschlusses nach Fig. 1.
The invention relates to a buckle closure for connecting a flexible element, preferably a strap, to a buckle body, to which the flexible element is attached at one end and in which a pivotable clamping part is mounted, which is pressed by a spring element onto a fixed part in the buckle body and can be pivoted away from it by hand pressure, so that an opening receiving the flexible element with its other end is formed between them.
Buckle closures of the type mentioned at the outset are known, for example, as so-called ski straps. The buckle closure is made of metal and a special spring wire made of high-quality steel or the like is used for the spring elements. This buckle closure is therefore relatively complex to manufacture. In addition, the metal parts used in this can cause undesirable impressions in the objects to be bound, such as a pair of skis.
In contrast, the present task was based on the task of developing a buckle fastener according to the type mentioned at the beginning in such a way that it can be produced simply and inexpensively, allows a high tensile force on the flexible element held together with this fastener, and furthermore does not cause any damage to the objects to be connected inflicts.
The object is achieved according to the invention in that at least the buckle body and preferably also the clamping part are each made of a plastic part, and that the spring element is in particular part of the buckle body produced from a plastic part.
As a result, this buckle closure according to the invention can be produced simply and inexpensively with a few parts. In addition, it is lightweight and can be used to create a permanent and high tension on the flexible element.
An embodiment of the invention and further advantages thereof are explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. It shows:
1 shows a longitudinal section of a buckle closure according to the invention in the initial state, in which the clamping part is pressed onto the fixed part,
Fig. 2 is a longitudinal section of the buckle closure according to Fig. 1, in which the clamping part is pushed away from the fixed part and the flexible element is held around the fixed part, and
3 shows a top view of the buckle closure according to FIG. 1.
1 shows a buckle closure 10 for connecting a flexible element, for which a strap 12 is used in the present exemplary embodiment. Such buckles can be used for various purposes, for example for load locks in or on cars, in boats, on bicycles or for binding together objects such as poles or the like. The buckle closure 10 has a buckle body 11, to which this band 12 is fastened at one end and in which a pivotable clamping part 30 is mounted, which in the starting position shown is pressed against a fixed part 15 of the buckle body 11 by a spring element 20. The clamping part 30 is mounted approximately in the middle on an axis 18 held in the buckle body 11.
The buckle body 11 has two legs 11 min arranged parallel to each other, which are connected by an end cross bar 13, a fixed part 15 opposite this and a wall 14 formed between them. This wall 14 forms on its underside 19 a support surface for the objects to be clamped there. On the crosspiece 13, one end of the band 12 is fastened to form a loop, for which purpose it is sewn on or otherwise held together.
According to the invention, at least the buckle body 11 and preferably also the clamping part 30 are each made of a plastic part, and the spring element 20 is also part of the buckle body 11 made of a plastic part. With this measure, this buckle closure 10 can be produced with a few parts, in which the Buckle body 11 can be produced together with the spring element by a single tool shape.
The spring element 20 is expediently designed as a spiral spring extending from the wall 14. The wall 14 has a recess 16 which is provided with such a size that the spiral spring forms an outline in the unloaded state which is equal to or smaller than that of the recess 16. The mold for the injection molding of the plastic buckle can thus extend through this recess 16 and form the lower surface 20 min of the spring element 20.
This spiral spring is prefabricated together with the rest of the buckle body 11 such that after the mounting of the clamping part 30 it exerts such a spring force on the clamping part 30 that the front edge 33 of the latter is pressed against a contact surface 17 of the fixed part 15. When pivoting, this front edge 33 describes a circular shape, to which the support surface 17 runs approximately tangentially. The end opposite the front edge 33 of the clamping part 30 is preferably in contact with the end region of the spiral spring.
According to FIG. 2, the clamping part 30 in its recess 32 provided on the upper side can be pivoted away from the fixed part 15 by thumb pressure 31 or the like, so that an opening 36 receiving the band 12 with its other end is formed between them. This band 12 is guided on the underside 19 of the buckle body through this opening 36 around the fixed part 15. The end of the band 12 is then pulled away from the buckle body 11 for 12 minutes until the object or objects wrapped in the band are held in place with an adjustable tensioning force. Subsequently, the clamping part 30 can be released and the leading edge 33 is pressed against the band 12 by the spiral spring 20 so that it is held in the buckle body.
Due to the tensile force acting on the band 12 wound around the object after the binding, the clamping part 30 is pulled by the latter in addition to the spring force against the fixed part 15, as a result of which the clamping force acting on the band from the fixed part 15 increases and the band 12 thus the or holds the objects permanently and with constant tension. The remaining tape can then be looped around a bracket 25.
3, the bracket 25 protruding from the buckle body 11 is U-shaped for the remaining loop of the band. With inwardly directed cams 26 on its two legs, it is engaged in appropriately designed bores 27 of the legs 11 min of the buckle body 11. By means of a tooth-shaped configuration of the bores 27 or the cams 26, which is not shown in any more detail, the bracket 25 can be set at any angle to the buckle body 11. For this purpose, the strap can be pulled apart with its two legs due to its stretchable design and consequently can be removed from the bores and can be snapped in at a different angle to the buckle body 11.
In FIG. 3, the recess 16 and the outline of the spiral spring 20 are also illustrated as invisible, dashed lines. Letze re is provided up to its bending edge at the transition to the wall 14 with a lateral recess 32 to this wall 14.
POM (polyacetal) is suitable for the buckle body made of plastic according to the invention as well as for the clamping part due to its resistance. Of course, another plastic material, possibly also with fiber reinforcement, can also be used. In contrast, a stainless steel is advantageously used for the axis 18.
The invention is sufficiently demonstrated with this exemplary embodiment explained above. Of course, this buckle closure could have a different design. For example, the bracket 25 could be omitted for an even simpler implementation. A strap or braided cord could be used in place of a ribbon.
