Fig. 1 in einer Seitenansicht eine Verschlusseinrichtung eines Montagebügels einer Gleitschutzkette;
Fig. 2 in einer Unteransicht ein Hakenteil und ein Einhängeteil der Verschlusseinrichtung;
Fig. 3 in einer Unteransicht in vergrösserter Darstellung das Einhängeteil;
The invention relates to an anti-skid chain for vehicle wheels with an inner part which can be connected to form a ring, for example a spring-elastic mounting bracket or a steel cable, and a locking device which connects the two ends of the inner part and which has a hook part at one end and a hanging part having an opening at the other end of the Contains inner part.
Such anti-skid or snow chains, which are used in particular in passenger cars, are known. DE 3 310 917 C2, for example, shows a tire anti-skid chain with a mounting bracket which has a locking element containing a hook at its two ends and a counter-locking element with an opening in which the hook can engage. The closure formed from the closure member and the counter-closure member is opened to pull the tire chain onto the tire and must be closed after being placed on the tire. The counter-closure member is a flat part that has an elongated shoulder on its narrow side, which is fastened to the bow end via an additional sleeve.
The invention has for its object to provide an anti-skid chain according to the preamble of claim 1, which has a closure of the inner part that can be produced with less effort.
The object is achieved in that in the generic anti-skid chain according to the invention the hanging part is made in one piece from a hollow cylindrical part and has a hanging section for the hook part and a tubular fastening section which is fastened to the associated bracket end of the inner part, the hanging section being formed by a cylinder wall , which is opened and in which an opening for coupling with the hook part is made. The one-piece design of the hanging part makes assembly easier, since only this one part at the end of the bracket e.g. must be attached by pressing.
Advantageous embodiments of the device are specified in the dependent claims.
The hollow cylinder part is preferably a piece of pipe. The inside diameter of the pipe section is adapted to the diameter of the spring steel wire of the temple end, so that a compression of the hollow cylinder section in the area of the fastening section results in a firm connection at the temple end,
The opening of the suspension section is expediently predetermined by a longitudinal separation of the cylinder wall of the undeformed tube section, the length of which is limited. The separation is e.g. a longitudinal slot made in the tube wall, which prevents undefined tearing of the tube wall when it is opened.
In order to avoid tearing open the tube wall at the inner end of the separation or the longitudinal slot, the separation of the cylinder wall can end in a fork forming a tongue.
An aid in closing the inner part is given in that the unfolded hanging section has opposite edges which protrude over a central section of the hanging section. The hanging section thus has a channel-like curvature, which offers improved guidance when placing it on the hook of the hook part. However, the unfolded suspension section can also be formed essentially flat.
In an alternative design, the hollow cylinder part is formed from a rolled sheet. If the sheet does not overlap, the hollow cylinder wall is opened along the longitudinal joint of the wall. If the sheet overlaps, it can also be separated.
An additional ease of operation is obtained if a narrow front end of the hanging part has a concave depression. The recess guides the hanging part on the hook of the hook part into the locking position.
The invention is explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment of a device with reference to drawings. It shows:
Figure 1 is a side view of a locking device of a mounting bracket of an anti-skid chain.
2 is a bottom view of a hook part and a hanging part of the closure device;
Fig. 3 in a bottom view in an enlarged view of the hanging part;
Fig. 4 in a sectional view along the line IV-IV in Fig. 3, the hanging part; and
Fig. 5 in an axial plan view of the hanging part shown in Figs. 3 and 4.
An anti-skid chain or snow chain for a wheel e.g. of a passenger car has an inner part, which is shown in sections and can be connected to form a ring, which here is designed, for example, as a mounting bracket 1 (see FIG. 1) made of spring steel. The two bracket ends 3 and 4 of the mounting bracket 1 are detachably connected to one another on the flank of the wheel inside with a locking device 2, the chain net being placed around the wheel in a known manner and fastened to it (not shown).
The closure device 2 contains a hook part 5 and a hanging part 6. The hook part 5 has a curved wire hook 7, which is pressed with a sleeve 8 on the bracket end 3. A safety bracket 9 fastened to the wire hook 7 or to the sleeve 8 covers the rearward hook opening in such a way that only a narrow passage point 10 remains between the safety bracket 9 and the bent back hook end 11 of the wire hook 7.
The hanging part 6 of the closure device 2 is formed from a hollow cylinder part and in particular a tube piece and contains a rear, hollow cylindrical or tubular fastening section 12, in the axial recess 13 of which the bow end 4 is inserted. By pressing the fastening section 12, the hanging part 6 is fastened to the bracket end 4. In a front suspension section 14 of the suspension part 6, the pipe section is opened and shaped such that the cross section of the front suspension section 14 is concave in cross-section corresponding to the attachment of the suspension part 6 at the bracket end 4 (ie towards the outside of the mounting bracket 1 closed as a ring under spring tension) has a curved surface with raised edges 15 (see in particular Fig. 5).
The curved surface can also be flat in its middle region 16, in which case only the edges 15 are pulled up. The central region 16 of the curved surface is pressed approximately into the axial center of the pipe section and a suspension opening 13 is punched out in the suspension section 14. The hanging opening 17 is, for example, an elongated hole, but can also be drilled or punched as a round opening.
The pipe section is expediently opened after the wall of the pipe section has been separated, for example by means of a longitudinal slot introduced approximately over the length of the hanging section 14. To avoid undefined tearing of the pipe wall, the inner end of the longitudinal slot is formed from the fork 18, which forms the tongue 19 in the pipe wall by opening the pipe section along the longitudinal slot. The tongue is pressed against the central region 16 of the hanging section 14.
Instead of a piece of pipe, a rolled sheet can also be used to produce the hanging part 6. In any case, the hanging part 6 consists of only one part to be machined.
To close the mounting bracket 1, the hanging part 6 is placed with its front end 20 on the wire hook 7 and in particular on the hook end 11 of the hook part 5. The curvature of the central region 16 of the hanging section 16 forms a centering aid. If the front end 20 of the hanging part 6 is concavely curved according to the illustrations, an additional centering aid is thereby provided when the front end 20 is placed on the safety bracket 9. The hook end 11 then engages through the hook-in opening 17 in the hook-in section 14. Since the mounting bracket 1 is under prestressing of the spring steel when connecting its two bracket ends 3 and 4, its two bracket ends 3 and 4 are pressed apart and apart, so that the connection is thereby is largely secured against automatic opening.
