Darin zeigt:
Fig. 1 eine schematische Seitenansicht,
Fig. 3 eine Draufsicht auf die zweite Station.
The invention relates to a device for transporting and packaging products with wrapping material in a packaging machine. The invention has for its object to design such a device so that it is simple and easy to control. This object is achieved by the combination of features of the claims.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained below with reference to the drawings. It shows:
1 is a schematic side view,
Fig. 2 is a more detailed side view of part of the device, and
Fig. 3 is a plan view of the second station.
The device 1 is used for packaging products 2, e.g. of groups of upright, flat food slices, e.g. Biscuit. The products 2 are fed on a first conveyor 3 to the device 1 in the conveying direction A at regular intervals. At the entry end of the device 1, the product 2 is wrapped in a wrapping material film 4. The film 4 is withdrawn cyclically by a gripper 5 from a supply roll transversely to the transport direction A and cut to the appropriate length by a knife 6. The center of the cut film blank 7 is located in the center plane M. When the next product 2 is transported further, it is encased by the blank 7 and a sealing seam is formed by two transverse sealing jaws 8.
The wrapped products 2 are then moved through the device 1 in cycles by a comb-like transport element 9. They first arrive in a front-side folding device 10. Each device 10 consists of two triangular sheets 11, which are offset from one another transversely to the transport direction, overlap, symmetrical to one another and arranged to the center plane M. The sheets 11 form on the front side of the products 2 sealing seams folded flat on these end faces. When the products 2 are transported further, they reach a sealing device 12. This consists of both sides of a number of sealing jaws 13 which can be moved transversely to the transport direction A and which are moved against each other by the lifting element 14 and seal the sealing seams on the end face.
After sealing, the packages 15 are pushed onto a further conveyor, which transports them away.
2 shows the device in the area of the sealing jaws 8 in somewhat more detail. The conveyor 3 pushes the products 2 in cycles on a support table 20 in a first station B directly in front of the level of the film web 4. The table 20 is displaceable in the conveying direction A on a longitudinal guide 21. It is moved by a driver 22 at the free end of a pivot lever 23, which in turn is controlled by a cam disk 25 which can be rotated about an axis 24. The table 20 can also have side guides 26 for guiding the products 2. The product 2 is pushed from the first station B into the second station C by means of a slide 27. The slide 27 and the table 20 initially move synchronously. The slide 27 is controlled by a further control cam, not shown, on the cam disk 25.
On the way back, it is raised using known means, e.g. analogous to the conveyor 9 described later. As soon as the product reaches the film 4, it is cut with the knife 6. The product 2 is pushed further. The lower and upper film parts of the film blank 7 are folded around the top of the product 2 and the bottom of the table 20. This process is supported by guide plates 29, the back of which is approximately in the vertical plane of the film 4. The front of the product 2, that is to say approximately the middle of the blank 7, reaches a plastic system 34 on the rear of a rearmost pair of fingers 35.
The carrier 36 of the fingers 35 is guided in a carriage 37 so as to be displaceable in the direction of transport A and is biased by a spring 38 into the rear end position, in which a bolt 39 inserted through a transverse bore in the carrier 36 abuts the rear edge of a longitudinal hole 40 in the carriage 37. The blank 7 is pressed against the product 2 by the force of the spring 38 against the product 2 when it is pushed further against the second station C, so that it cannot slide away.
The carriage 37 is guided on a guide rod 43 so as to be displaceable in the conveying direction A. The guide rod 43 is fastened on a holder 44 which is guided in a vertically movable manner by a parallelogram linkage 45. At least one of the articulated rods of the linkage 45 is designed as a double-armed lever 46. The other arm 47 of the lever is connected via an articulated rod 48 to a further pivot lever 49, which is controlled by an additional control cam 50 of the cam plate 25. Another pivot lever 52, which interacts with an additional control cam 51, is connected to the slide 37 via an articulated rod 53.
The control cam 51 is designed in such a way that it moves the carriage 37 in the transport direction A approximately synchronously with the movement of the slide 27 as soon as the rearmost pair of fingers 35 has been somewhat pushed in by the product 2 advanced with the slide 27. In this position, the table 20 remains. The product 2, which had been in the second station C, is pushed into the third station D. The products 2 from the third station D and the fourth station E are pushed into the next station by further fingers 54 fixedly mounted on the slide 37, whereupon the slide 37 is lowered by the control curve 50 and by the curve 51 back to the rear basic position is raised.
At the same time, the slide 27 and the table 20 return to the basic position shown in FIG. 2, whereupon the gripper 5 pulls off the next piece of film.
In the basic position, the product 2 is held in the second station C by a holder 59 which can be controlled by means of a lifting element 58. The support 60 for the products 2 in the stations C, D, E consists of a plurality of support elements 61 (FIG. 3) which are objected to by one another. These have a widening 62 in the second station C, on which the tube packing 63 of the packaging formed around the product 2 rests. The rearmost fingers 35 also have a widening 64 at the top. This provides a large-area support for the hose pack 63 in the second station C and a large-area contact of the first fingers 35 for further transport to the subsequent station D.
Since the lateral guidance through the folding device 10 already begins in the following stations D, E and the hose pack 63 is already longitudinally sealed, the large-area support is no longer necessary there.
The device described is inexpensive to manufacture, simple and easy to monitor. Format adjustment is easy. Products 2 are handled with care. The device has a high level of functional reliability. The slotted pad 60 makes it self-cleaning.
