Fig. 1 Einzelteile eines Temperaturfühlers und
Fig. 2 den an einem Rauchgaskanal befestigten Temperaturfühler.
The invention relates to a temperature sensor with a capillary tube system of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1.
Such temperature sensors are suitable, for example, for measuring the temperature of the flue gases in a flue gas or exhaust gas duct.
The invention has for its object to provide a temperature sensor with a capillary tube system that can be used in a flue gas duct, protected against damage from chimney sweeping and / or corrosion by chemically aggressive smoke or exhaust gases and is easily replaceable.
The stated object is achieved according to the invention by the features of claim 1. Advantageous refinements result from the dependent claims.
An exemplary embodiment follows. the invention explained in more detail with reference to the drawing.
Show it:
Fig. 1 parts of a temperature sensor and
Fig. 2 shows the temperature sensor attached to a flue gas duct.
1 shows a temperature sensor with a capillary tube system, which comprises a helix sensor 1, a sealing element 2, a capillary 3 and a pressure-displacement transducer 4, for example a membrane. The filament sensor 1 and parts of the capillary 3 are covered with a shrink tube 5. The spiral sensor 1 can be inserted into a nipple 6. The nipple has a first external thread 7, a screw head 8, a second and a third, not visible external thread 9 or 10. The first external thread 7 is used to attach the temperature sensor to a flue gas or exhaust gas duct. A union nut 14 provided with a lateral slot 11 and with a groove 12 for receiving a clamp 13 can be screwed onto the second external thread 9. A protective spring 15 is attached to the third external thread 10.
The protective spring 15 consists of a piece of wire which is screwed onto the third external thread 10 like a nut. The wire thickness and the distance between the individual turns of the protective spring 15 are predetermined on the one hand so that the protective spring 15 can be bent in any lateral direction that the coil sensor 1 later arranged inside the protective spring 15 does not bend when the protective spring 15 is bent, for example with a chimney sweeper tool is damaged and that the protective spring 15 brings the helix sensor 1 back into the original position after bending. On the other hand, the distance between the individual turns of the protective spring 15 is chosen so large that the filament sensor 1 is optimally ventilated by the smoke or exhaust gases and thus has a minimal time constant with respect to the temperature changes of the smoke gas.
The protective spring 15 is made of a corrosion-resistant material, preferably stainless steel such as e.g. alloy X5 CrNiMo 1810. The nipple 6 as the carrier of the protective spring 15 consists of a temperature and corrosion resistant material. An acid-resistant plastic is particularly preferred, so that electrochemical contact corrosion between the nipple 6 and the protective spring 15 is excluded. The sealing element 2 is designed as a sealing washer made of thermally and chemically resistant material, preferably made of plastic. The union nut 14 consists of thermally stable and thermally poorly conductive material, preferably of plastic.
In the manufacture of the temperature sensor, the capillary 3 is guided through a hole in the sealing washer 2 and then soldered or welded together with the helix sensor 1. The shrink tube 5 is led from the tip of the helix sensor 1 over the solder joint between the helix sensor 1 and the capillary 3.
2 shows the temperature sensor installed in a flue gas or exhaust gas duct 16. In the figure, the diameter of the channel 16 is only slightly larger than the protective spring 15 is long. The channel 16 can also have a much larger diameter. The nipple 6 and the protective spring 15 represent a preassembled part. By means of the first screw thread 7, the nipple 6 can be screwed onto a connecting piece 17 of the channel 16. The screw head 8 is designed as a normal hexagon head, so that the nipple 6 can be firmly tightened on the socket 17 with a corresponding wrench. The protective spring 15 extends into the interior of the channel 16. Since the nipple 6 is made of plastic, heat transfer from the interior of the channel 16 to the surroundings hardly occurs in the nipple 6.
The protective spring 15 is bent at its end directed against the channel 16 in such a way that the helix sensor 1 strikes this end when it is inserted. The helix sensor 1 is with the capillary 3, the sealing washer 2 (Fig. 1) and the membrane 4 is a composite part, which is now inserted up to the stop in the nipple 6, fastened with the union nut 14 and with the bracket 13 against unwanted Shifts along the axis y defined by the direction of the nozzle 17 can be secured. This ensures that the helix sensor 1 is in the correct position in the flue gas duct 16 and that the temperature in the flue gas duct 16 is thus correctly recorded. The sealing washer 2 serves for the airtight sealing of the flue gas duct 16.
Thanks to the side slot 11, the union nut 14 can be easily guided over the capillary 3. The clip 13 engages in the groove 12.
The shrink tube 5 consists of chemically and thermally resistant material and protects the filament sensor 1 against corrosion by chemically aggressive smoke or exhaust gases. The smoke gases can be supplied to the filament sensor 1 from all sides, so that no predetermined position in the smoke gas channel 16 has to be provided.
Length and diameter of the protective spring 15 and the helix sensor 1 can be varied as desired depending on the application. The diameters of the spiral sensor 1 and the capillary 3 are generally dimensioned differently. The filament sensor 1 enables a simple measurement of the temperature in the flue gas duct 16 in compliance with the legal regulations, such as DIN 3440, required short time constant. In a construction variant of the temperature sensor, the pressure-displacement converter 4 is installed in a housing which can be plugged onto the union nut 14 and fastened by means of a screw engaging in the groove 12.
In a further embodiment, the nipple 6 (FIG. 1) has two cams instead of the second external thread 9, which are used to fasten the union nut 14 by means of a bayonet catch. In addition, instead of the cylindrical external thread 7, a conically tapering thread can be provided which fits a corresponding thread on the socket 17 (FIG. 2). Such a closure represents a further simple way of attaching the nipple 6 to the nozzle 17 in an airtight manner.
If the lateral slot 11 on the union nut 14 is missing, the union nut 14, like the sealing washer 2, is permanently connected to the subsystem formed by the helix sensor 1, the capillary 3, the sealing washer 2 and the membrane 4.
