Fig. 1 die schematische Darstellung eines Walzwerkes,
Fig. 2 ein Walzwerk mit Luftkreislauf.

The invention relates to a rolling mill for grinding and / or flaking cereals and other goods with a housing and an entry for the goods.
Devices for grinding or flaking cereals and other goods are known in many ways. In the already known flaking rolling mills, the rolls are exposed and have a more or less open housing. The goods are conveyed using a conveyor belt. There are disadvantageous high noise levels. In the case of almost closed housings, moisture increases and the associated undesirable corrosion occur. Furthermore, deposits form inside the rolling mill, which can lead to the formation of mold.
From DE-OS 2 610 742 a housing for roller mills for grinding cereals and other goods is known. The housing has a load-bearing frame for receiving a roller package and a cladding for dust-tight enclosure of the grinding chamber.
In order to minimize or eliminate the disadvantages mentioned above, the object of the invention is to propose a rolling mill which is as quiet as possible and which prevents deposits of the ground material or flaking material and mold formation.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the housing of the rolling mill is partially closed against external air, has an air inlet and a common outlet for the air and the ground or flocculated product to form a constant air flow in the interior of the housing.
Adequate noise reduction is achieved by sealing with the closed housing. In addition, the ground and flocculated material is taken along with the dusts by the air flow provided, so that no deposits can form inside the housing. All or part of the air is advantageously returned to the interior of the rolling mill, thus forming an air circuit.
According to a particularly preferred embodiment, the air circuit has at least one filter for cleaning the air.
According to a further embodiment, at least one heat exchanger is provided in the air circuit. Depending on the desired product, the air can be preheated or cooled. This measure offers the possibility of optimal conditioning. In particular, the degree of moisture can be optimally adjusted.
In order to reduce the sound level, the housing walls can be double-walled, wherein the spaces can be filled with sound-insulating material.
As a further advantageous measure, flow elements for optimal air guidance can be arranged in the interior of the housing. For example, special sheets or the like are provided for this.
Depending on the desired product, the invention provides for the air circuit to be sealed against external air and / or air or gas, e.g. Inert gas to be introduced additionally.
An example according to the invention is shown in the drawing.
Show it:
1 is a schematic representation of a rolling mill,
Fig. 2 is a rolling mill with an air circuit.
1 shows a schematic representation of the rolling mill 1. The actual rolling mill 1 with the housing 6 hermetically sealed against external air is accommodated in a cabinet 10 supported on feet 11. The material to be ground or flocculating enters the inlet 7 via locks (not shown) and then into the nip of the rollers 2 and 3 via feed wheels 4 and 5. aspirated through outlet 9 for further processing. Flow elements, not shown, are provided in the drawing for better air guidance.
A filter can be connected upstream of the air inlet 8 to clean the air. The filter is not shown in the drawing. Furthermore, it is possible to provide a heat exchanger (not shown in the drawing) in front of the air inlet 8. This has the advantage, depending on the desired product, of optimal boundary conditions, e.g. Set temperature, humidity etc.
For sound insulation, the cabinet walls or the walls of the housing 6 can be double-walled, wherein the gaps can additionally be filled with sound-insulating material.
In Fig. 2, a line for extracting the air and conveying the goods is connected to the outlet 9. It leads to a cyclone 13 used for dedusting. Air is blown into the cyclone 13 by means of a blower 21, the suction 14 and the line 15 and is thus sucked into the line 12. Arranged below the cyclone is a cellular wheel sluice 16, to which a pipe switch 17 connects.
The pipe switch 17 offers the possibility of passing the product into the pipes 18 or 19 for further processing.
A further advantageous possibility of air routing is to circulate the air in a circuit, for example the air being partly returned to line 23 via line 22. The filters, valves and other devices necessary for this are known and are not shown in the drawing. If necessary, an additional gas (inert gas) can be added to the air.
The advantages achieved by the invention are, in particular, that the noise generated by the rolling mill is reduced, that no harmful external air can penetrate into the interior of the housing, that no mold-causing deposits and adhesions can form, that condensation is avoided and thus no corrosion damage can occur and that an optimal conditioning of the air is made possible.
