Abstract

The timepiece has a watch mechanism (2) with a dial face analogue display hands and a transparent watch glass, contained within a 2-part housing (3) having interfitting cylindrical mantle parts (8,9) integral with its base (3) and cover (4) respectively. The housing has projecting flanges (12,13) defining a reception space (16) for a carrier element (7), e.g, a watch strap and a decorative frame (17), fitting around the outside of the housing. The watch mechanism, the decorative frame and the carrier element are each provided as interchangeable elements, allowing a wide range of different variations.
