Abstract

The winter garden table has a base and a table-top. The base is divided into a lower portion, in which electrical heating elements (12) are provided, and an upper portion which is closed at the bottom and can be opened with a lid at the top. The upper portion acts as a thermal storage space which can be filled with heat-storing medium or material. The wall of the base is thermally insulated. The table top may be made from heat-storing material such as stone or ceramic. ADVANTAGE - Has hot plate for food dishes such as Rechaud, and provides pleasant radiant heat to users.

In einer anderen Ausführungsform sind Heizschlangen vorgesehen, welche zusätzlich auch die Kammer 14 durchdringen. Zur Verbesserung der Wärmeübertragung kann der Zwischenraum zwischen der Wand 13 und der Kammer 14 auch mit einem wärmeleitenden Material, wie zum Beispiel Quarzsand, oder mit einem flüssigen Medium gefüllt sein.
