Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Verankerungsnagel zur Befestigung von orthopädischen Knochenimplantaten gemäss dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1. The invention relates to an anchoring nail for fastening orthopedic bone implants according to the preamble of claim 1.
Verankerungsnägel der genannten Art werden zur Fixation von orthopädischen Implantaten verwendet, beispielsweise zur Verankerung von Hüftpfannen im Acetabulum. Bei der als stabilisierendes Element wirkenden Verwendungsart werden solche Verankerungsnägel hauptsächlich auf Zugbelastung und auf Scherkraft beansprucht. Bei einem gebräuchlichen Verankerungsnagel dieser Art gewährleistet ein tannzapfenartiges Profil des Nagel-schaftes eine der Zugbelastung entgegenwirkende Haltekraft. Eine Entfernung des Verankerungsnagels sollte aber jederzeit ohne besondere Vorkehrungen gewährleistet sein, sei dies während einer Operation als auch anlässlich einer Reoperati-on. Die durch die Erfindung erreichten Vorteile sind im wesentlichen darin zu sehen, dass dank dem er-findungsgemässen Verankerungsnagel die Operationstechnik verbessert und die Entfernbarkeit jederzeit, sowohl intraoperativ als auch postoperativ gewährleistet ist. Davon ausgehend, dass in den Figuren gleichen Bezugszeichen gleiche oder gleichwertige Teile entsprechen, ergibt sich aus Fig. 1, dass der Verankerungsnagel im wesentlichen aus einer Kopfpartie 1, sowie einem daran anschliessenden, in eine Spitze 8 auslaufenden, im wesentlichen kreiszylin-derförmigen Schaft 2 besteht. Fig. 2 zeigt die Einzelheiten des Retentionselementes 4, welches die Form eines Keiles besitzt, der sich von der Spitze 8 in Richtung der Kopfpartie 1 des Verankerungsnagels kontinuierlich verbreitert, d.h. an Dicke zunimmt. Durch diese spezielle Form des Retentionselementes 4 kann der Verankerungsnagel in eine Knochenbohrung mit dem Kerndurchmesser des Verankerungsnagels eingeschlagen werden, wobei die durch das Einschlagen des Verankerungsnagels erzeugte Vorspannung beibehalten wird. Die der Kopfpartie 1 zugewandte, der Schraubenlinie 5 entlang verlaufende Fläche 9 des keilförmigen Retentionselementes 4 besteht dabei aus einer Schar von Geraden 11, welche die Schraubenlinie 5 sowie die Schraubenachse 10 senkrecht schneiden (es handelt sich somit um die nach aussen verlängerten Radien des zylinderförmigen Schaftes 2).
