Beschreibung description
The present invention relates to a control method for a heating system with a circulating water heater or boiler, at least one pipe or a radiator at risk of frost, a control device with outside temperature sensor, setpoint value transmitter, flow or return temperature sensor, circulation pump and a clock for specifying High and low temperature time.
Such control procedures are known; High-temperature target values are specified for the occupancy times of the associated building to be heated by the heating system and low-temperature times, usually called lowering times, for the absence times. In the course of increased energy savings or to avoid unnecessary noises at bedtime, the lowering times are usually designed so that the entire heating system is switched off, in particular the pump is switched off. This saves additional electrical energy, but also reduces noise in the hydraulic part of the system. However, it has been found that when relatively low outside temperatures are reached or if the lowering times last more than one night, there is a risk of freezing in the pipes or radiators. In order to counter this risk of freezing, it is necessary to temporarily start the heating system pump to avoid freezing simply by flushing the heating system or to be able to measure the temperature in the heating circuit and possibly switch on the heater temporarily can.
The present invention has for its object to find a frost protection method that reliably prevents freezing of line parts of the heating system while maintaining the shutdown of the heating pump and thereby utilizes the advantages of the heating shutdown for the lowering times of several hours.
The solution according to the invention is that comparison value transmitters are provided for the outside temperature and a period of time and that when the value falls below the comparison value for the outside temperature, the pump is at least temporarily started up by the control device if the reduction time is greater than a predetermined period of time. With such a method, the heating pump can be started when there is a risk of freezing due to the length of the lowering times and the outside temperature, without having to accept energy waste and unnecessary noise.
In an embodiment of the invention, it is proposed that the heating pump be put into operation after an adjustable delay time if, at the moment when the lowering time begins, the outside temperature is below its comparison value.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the pump is only put into operation after a certain delay time if, at the moment the lowering time begins, the outside temperature is still above the comparison value,
aber im Verlauf der Absenkzeit unter den Vergleichswert absinkt, so dass die Verzögerungszeit sich erst ab dem letztgenannten Zeitpunkt bemisst. but falls below the comparison value in the course of the lowering time, so that the delay time is only measured from the latter point in time.
The training just described enables an even better adaptation of the control process to the circumstances, the position of the outside temperature on the one hand and the position of the lowering time on the other hand.
An embodiment of the invention will now be explained in more detail with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2 of the drawing.

Fig. 2 vier Diagramme. Fig. 2 four diagrams.
Die Funktion der eben beschriebenen Anlage wird nun anhand der Diagramme der Fig. 2 näher erläutert: The heating system 1 according to FIG. 1 essentially has a gas-heated circulating water heater 2 or an oil-heated boiler. In any case, a burner 3 is provided, which is fed from a fuel line 5 via a solenoid valve 4. The solenoid valve 4 is excited by a magnet 6, which is connected via a line 7 to a boiler or circulation water regulator 8. This in turn is connected to a control device 10 via a line 9. A time switch 12 is connected to the control unit 10 via a line 11, a manual switch 14 via a further line 13, an outside temperature sensor 16 via a third line 15, a room temperature setpoint value sensor 18 via a line 17 and via a last line 19 a comparator for the outside temperature 20 connected. Finally, a time comparator 21 is provided, which is connected to the control unit via a line 22. From the circulating water heater 2 there is a flow line 24 provided with a circulation pump 23, in which an actual value transmitter 25 for the flow temperature is arranged, which is connected to the control unit 10 via a line 26. At least one heating element 27 is connected to the supply line 24 and is connected to the boiler 2 via a return line 28. It does not matter whether the radiator 27 is a single radiator or convector, there may be a large number of such radiators, and there may also be an underfloor heating system and / or a connected hot water heater. The function of the system just described will now be explained in more detail using the diagrams in FIG. 2:
The top diagram shows the dependence of the room temperature setpoint (ordinate) as a function of time (abscissa). It is assumed that a room temperature of 20 ° C is specified as the target value during the high temperature times, and a room temperature of 15 ° C is specified for the lowering time. These values can fluctuate depending on the application. From this diagram, a curve 31 can be seen, which signals a high-temperature time from a time beginning with the O point to the time to. This curve is denoted by 32, at time t0 the target value jumps to the lowering target value that of

Time t0 prevails, the lowering period should extend to time ti. This is usually from 10 p.m. one day to 6 a.m. the following day. Then the target value jumps back to the high-temperature target value, and the next high-temperature target value period follows in curve 33. The diagram below shows the dependence of the outside temperature a (ordinate) on the time t (abscissa). The comparison value of the outside temperature -d AS is also shown, which is set in such a way that it can be assumed that there is a risk of freezing if this value is undershot. The value for u as depends on the point of the heating system most at risk of freezing. This can be a poorly insulated part of the return line 28 that is located far from the outside or an exposed radiator. The value for -ö as is adjustable on the set value generator 20 (see FIG. 1). It can be seen from curve 34 that the value of the outside temperature falls in the course of the night or more generally the lowering period. It can also be seen that, in accordance with t2, the actual value of the outside temperature falls below the comparison value tì as in point 35. It has no effect up to the time to, since no reduction period is yet running. If, however, the heating system is lowered at time to, i.e. the boiler is switched off and the heating pump in particular is switched off, the frost protection condition runs from time to since the hazard has already occurred, namely the current value of the outside temperature is below the frost protection limit, specified by as A delay time tv thus begins to run (see diagram 3 in FIG. 2), the length of which can be specified by the setpoint generator 21. The length of this delay time depends, among other things, on the insulation status of the building, on the level of the last flow or return temperature of the heating system and possibly also on whether parts of the heating system, in particular radiators located in exposed rooms, were last in operation or not. After the delay time has elapsed, the heating pump is at least temporarily energized via the control unit 10, so that the heating system is flushed out and strongly cooled water is removed from areas of the heating system which are at risk of freezing and is replaced by water at a higher temperature. This is usually done without switching on the circulation water heater 2, which can also be switched on in the event of danger. The pump can run continuously for a certain period of time, intermittent switching on is also conceivable.
From the bottom illustration in FIG. 2 it can also be seen that the intersection point 35 can also lie after t0 corresponding to the time X2, that is to say in the range of the lowering time between t0 and ti. Then the start-up of the delay time tv is measured only after the time t2 has been reached; the advantage is that the risk of freezing can only occur later, since the frost protection condition has not yet been reached at the start of the lowering time.
