Abstract
The flame-retardant product contains fibre material and/or fillers and a reaction resin as binder and one or more flameproofing agents. The flameproofing agents form a combination of organic borates, salts of phosphoric acids and oxide hydrates of magnesium and/or aluminium whose total proportion in the product is between 3 and 35% by weight. Products with this flameproofing agent combination and containing up to 50% by weight of reaction resin are glow-resistant in accordance with DIN 53459 and have an afterglow time of less than 1 minute in accordance with Nord Test NT-Fire 002.
