Abstract

The mattress frame has a swivel mounted head part with an adjustable neck rest at its free end. The neck rest is designed as a frame section (14) which is separate from the frame part (12) adjoining the swivel axis (13) but is attached to same for articulated movement. The mattress frame (10) which is locally fixed relative to the head part (11) is fitted with two erection levers (16) which are mounted to swivel about a common axis (17) lying underneath the head part.
